Then why did things get better after it was recognised and interracial couples given equal rights? Or does OP want lower standard of life?

The OP will gladly accept a lower standard of life if interracial couples and their children get an even lower one. It's all about maintaining a sense of superiority.

Jefferson, father of mixed race children himself, was talking about slavery. And the OP, I suspect from his language, is somewhere between 90 years old and pushing-up-daisies.

And of course, they use one single instance of a Black male murdering his White girlfriend to argue “burn the coal, pay the price.”

Yet another evidence of sexual possesiveness being a major part of racism and more generally bigotry.
