American politicians speak constantly about the indispensable role of the United States in leading the free world against authoritarianism. If that is true, why is the White House so silent in the face of new global threats to free speech?

In January, American citizen Gonzalo Lira died in a Ukrainian prison for posting YouTube videos; the State Department didn’t lift a finger to help. Last week, Telegram founder Pavel Durov was arrested in France for the crime of insufficient content moderation.

Now Brazil has banned X for resisting the diktats of a tyrannical judge, who salivates over the possibility of jailing @elonmusk. The EU is one step behind, with Eurocrat Thierry Breton pursuing a criminal investigation against Elon for “platforming disinformation,” which Breton defines to include a conversation with Donald Trump.

In the UK, the government of Keir Starmer imprisons critics of open borders with more zeal than it prosecutes violent crime. In Canada, Justin Trudeau crushed a trucker protest against vaccine mandates by asserting sweeping new powers to freeze bank accounts.
<...>
Hypocritically, the same voices demanding this crackdown are also the loudest in proclaiming the West to be engaged in a “war on authoritarianism” against countries like Russia and China. But whatever their other sins, Russia and China are in no position to deprive American citizens of their free speech rights; only our own government can do that.
<...>
As this battle over free speech heats up in an election year, where do the candidates stand? Donald Trump has declared his support for free speech whereas Kamala Harris has said nothing and can be expected to continue her administration’s policy of tacit approval of creeping censorship. In just two months, Americans will decide. Do we actually lead the free world in standing up for free speech, or do we accept the authoritarianism we claim to detest so much?

Half the country thinks something has gone drastically wrong in America, to the point that it is rapidly becoming unrecognizable. Millions feel they are virtual lab rats in some grand research project conducted by entitled elites who could care less when the experiment blows up.

Consider: Our military turns over $60 billion in state-of-the-art weapons to terrorists in Kabul and then flees in disgrace?

Terrorist flags fly in place of incinerated Old Glory at the iconic Union Station in Washington as radical students and green card-holding guests deface statues with threats that “Hamas is coming” while spewing hatred toward Jews—and all with impunity?

A wide-open border with 10 million unaudited illegal immigrants?
<...>
In truth, this apparent rapid cultural, economic, and political upheaval is well into its third decade. The disruptions are the results of the long-term effects of globalization and the high-tech revolution that brought enormous wealth into the hands of a tiny utopian elite. Almost overnight, every American household became a consumer of cellular phones and cameras, laptop computers, social media, and Google searches.

We then entered into a virtual, soulless world of hedonism, narcissism, and the cheap, anonymous cruelty of click-bait, cancel culture, doxing, ghosting, blacklisting, and trolling. The toxic COVID lockdown and the DEI racist fixations that followed the George Floyd death only accelerated what had been an ongoing three-decade devolution.
<...>
Again, what we got in the last quarter century was a shrill elite that subjects their Jacobin theories upon a distant other but has absolutely no intention of ever getting near the very disasters they wrought, much less suffering the collateral damage that was inevitable from their social engineering.

Or, to put it another way, they were to be our few genius white-coated researchers while we were their many expendable lab rats.

As the presidential campaign speeds past what was once its traditional kickoff date, Labor Day Weekend, many on the right continue to argue that engaging in the “Culture War” is either a distraction or that it is already lost. In both instances, waging the good fight to protect and promote a virtuous culture will ineluctably lead to the Right’s electoral defeat.

Instead, they aver, dispense with cultural issues, such as abortion, euthanasia, protecting parental rights, etc., and focus solely on the economy, immigration, and the weaponization of government. If these Republican Cassandras prevail upon the Trump campaign and GOP down-ticket campaigns to stand mute on critical cultural issues, what will victory in November accomplish for MAGA and conservative populists? The disintegration of our free republic by an erosion rather than an avalanche. And, in truth, the erosion would prove more painful by not only being slower but by being done by our own Republican hands.
<...>
The left is waging a culture war on America—indeed a war against the very concept of truth, itself—that aims to impose its collectivist, materialist, secularist ideology upon society; and subordinating and suppressing traditional culture and its adherence to moral truths. Since the left believes it is winning, if largely by default, and is hellbent on finishing its mission, in this Culture War the Republican Cassandras are laboring under the delusion they are seeking a Détente. What they are really calling for is unilateral disarmament on the path to unconditional surrender and serfdom.
<...>
Today, over thirty years, America is in a Culture War. Launched and waged by the left, it is a Culture War without quarter. Détente is not an option, and surrender is unconscionable, for it would mean the end of our free republic and all we have cherished for generations and hope to bequeath to future generations.

In brutal truth: we cannot make America great again unless we make America good again.

Feminism is an ideology of decline.

The so-called “liberation” of women from masculine authority means the destruction of civilized life. Feminism is the ideological and spiritual commitment to returning mankind to the primitive conditions of slavery, fear, and superstition that characterize the most common lot of human beings.

In the West alone, the spirit of science, conquest, and philosophy propelled a portion of mankind out of the primordial ooze of mere life and bare survival. This spirit was intrinsically and decisively masculine.
<...>
A compromise between the forces that built civilization and those that want to tear it down is impossible.

Today, 1.5 million American women have become OnlyFans camwhores. 40% of American children are born out of wedlock. 33% of Americans under the age of 25 identify as LGBTQ+. 50% of American marriages end in divorce.
<...>
No-fault divorce, abortion on demand, and loosening sexual morality make this world of home and hearth increasingly out of reach for millions of men and women alike. For a culture to promote marriage and family, it needs to shame slutty women, protect male wages, and defend the legal right of fathers to serve as the legal and de facto heads of their households.
<...>
The differences between the sexes are natural, and they are serious. A functioning political order must take account of humankind’s fundamental sexual dimorphism.

Women have a single overpowering virtue that dwarfs all others they possess: they can nurture life within their own bodies. Women are gateways to the future. They carry the germ and genius of the species in their wombs. Without pregnancy, mankind would die out.
<...>
Man has greater physical, intellectual, and spiritual potential than his female counterpart, but he is not life-giving in the same way. Man is a more sterile being than woman.

Don’t cry for me, Argentina.

Cry for Kamala the Kamunist.

It took them a while, it’s true, but at least Argentina has someone with a rudimentary knowledge of economics in charge.

Indeed, Javier Milei, one of my favorite leaders on the world stage today (along with Viktor Orbán, Benjamin Netanyahu, Georgia Meloni, and Nayib Bukele) is a Trump-like dynamo. If I had a more developed entrepreneurial bent, I would try marketing a line of Milei chainsaws in the United States. Just as he took a chainsaw (sometimes literally) to excessive spending, regulation, and bureaucracy in Argentina, so my Milei Chainsaws could be employed against waste, fraud, and abuse here across the fruited plain. Milei’s robust policies have put Argentina on the runway to economic success. They have slashed inflation—some 200% when he took office—and his abolition of rent control—surprise, surprise—has sparked a 195% rise in available housing stock.

Meanwhile, the socialists funneling ideas to Harris have put together an economic plan redolent of Venezuela or, indeed, the Soviet Union. Its centerpiece revolves around centrally promulgated and enforced wage and price controls—a recipe for shortages and inflation.
<...>
As I have noted ever since Kamala was plucked out of the bin marked “ridiculous” and dusted off as the mannequin’s understudy, the intoxicating paroxysms of glee that convulsed the left-leaning media pundits was but a sugar-high. I thought it would probably linger through the DNC convention next week, but the manic phase is already passing the stupor consequent on the sudden drop in energy has set in.
<...>
What’s coming will not be pretty. But I predict that it will be cathartic. It’s hard to know just how much of a hose Trump’s victory will be for the rank Augean stables of Democrat incumbency. Doubtless, many clumps of ordure will remain. Many, however, will be flushed into the impatient, rushing currents of change. I am looking forward to it.

Forty-five years ago, anti-communist dissident Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn caused a stir at Harvard with a famous commencement speech deploring the decadence of the West. The rivalry of the Cold War was not as neat as it appeared, he said. The liberal West, by making man and his desire for material satisfaction the measure of all things, was becoming a spiritual desert not unlike the Communist world:
<...>
The West had become cowardly and ruled over by “legalistic” elites without morality. The erstwhile master of the world was becoming the slave of its former colonies.

Solzhenitsyn’s oracular pronouncements ring even truer today. Western “scientists” fancy themselves miracle workers who are beyond reproach, and they are treated as such by intellectual elites and much of the population. Despite its uncontested material prosperity, the West is so enervated that many are captivated by the prospect of their own destruction. Western nations have welcomed the steady replacement of their peoples and cultures as “progress.” COVID, before it became hysteria, was an entertainment that filled many a void in people’s lives.
<...>
If the world is spared fiery destruction, the alternative is to trudge aimlessly through an endless winter. Western leaders have become hectoring dictators, caught up in endless exhortation. Toward what goal? “Democracy,” they say. “Equity.”

What have been the fruits of these idols? Oppressive ennui, mediocrity, and evils that multiply faster than the human imagination can reckon. The political freedoms once associated with Anglo-American liberalism, such as free speech, are now an illusion, replaced by a purely libertine conception of “freedom.” The blasphemous worship of sexual exotics and racial minorities is enforced by the world’s most powerful government. What could be worse than world war, you ask: How about a 1,000-year-long celebration of sodomy?

Not since the days of the Roman Empire have Christians faced so fearsome and obdurate an enemy.

Larry Sand #transphobia #wingnut #conspiracy amgreatness.com

As I noted recently, fads aren’t always harmful things. Nehru jackets, lava lamps, and mood rings may have set you back a few bucks, but that was the extent of it. Some fads, like the various eating disorders that were with us in the 1970s, were recognized as dangerous and treated as mental health problems. Today, though, becoming transsexual is treated simply as a lifestyle decision.

But as Jordan Peterson, a clinical psychologist, points out, “Trans is clearly identifiable as a fad, comparable to preceding fads, or ‘transmissible psychological diseases,’ like outbreaks of alleged multiple personality disorder, hysteria, self-mutilation, and anorexia. The typical victim is a young female with an underlying neurosis that seeks a socially acceptable form of expression. These forms of expression vary with the times.” Peterson goes on to say that the current trans fad will be viewed as we now view lobotomies.
<...>
To put it bluntly, California is predominantly run by power-hungry extremist individuals who don’t give a rip about parents or the sanctity of the family unit, and it is very difficult for traditional moms and dads to exert power on the state level. Hence, the local school board is the place where parents can find allies in their quest to stave off the trans-missionaries. And in July, Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) in San Bernardino County, with 32,000 K-12 students, got the ball rolling. The district banned Pride flags in the classroom and requires that staff tell parents when a child is using a name or pronouns that don’t match the sex determined at birth.
<...>
But if you are a parent who lives in an area where the state guidance on parental disclosure is followed, what can you do?

Get your kid out of the local public school if at all possible. Send him to a private school, move to a saner part of the state, or homeschool.

The left hates words, well specific words anyway. The left believes that words are hateful and that they cause fear. Per the left, using the wrong word should open you to ridicule, get you fired, or even put in jail.
<...>
The list of what we cannot say continues to grow daily. One publication has claimed that men cannot ask a female, say a hotel desk clerk, if he can speak to her manager, as it is disrespectful and implies a lack of trust in her abilities. And you certainly may never ask someone if they have lost weight, because you are saying that they used to be fat.

At the Los Angeles Times, reporters are discouraged from using the word “looters,” as it has a pejorative and racist connotation.
<...>
The Left is now also weaponizing words to prosecute those who offend them with speech. Per the National Institutes of Health, being misgendered can be an extremely hurtful and invalidating experience. The intentional refusal to use someone’s correct pronouns is equivalent to harassment and a violation of one’s civil rights. Continuing, EEOC guidance states that “intentionally and repeatedly using the wrong name and pronouns to refer to a transgender employee could contribute to an unlawful hostile work environment and is a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
<...>
I believe in the right to free speech, no matter how hateful, ridiculous, or even obscene. The First Amendment is designed to protect the speech I hate, not the speech I embrace. That is why the best way to expose stupidity, hate, and racism is to give people who espouse such thoughts a platform to expose themselves. As former supreme court justice, Louis Brandeis once said, sunlight is the best disinfectant.

The Left should return to its roots as embracing free speech and uninhibited debate. If nothing else, the Left should remember what all of our mamas taught us as children, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

Once again, the wisdom of mom rings true.

If you’re invited to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving Dinner, and his daughter shows up and starts talking about America’s genocide of Native Americans, what do you say? Or if you’re in a discussion of classical education with other parents from your neighborhood and someone comments that classical education has a curriculum that lacks diversity and flirts with white privilege, how do you respond?
<...>
It sounds like a trivial occasion, but it’s really not. It happens too often not to be important. Woke attitudes have spread too widely for conservatives to avoid it. Not long ago, talk of “privilege,” “patriarchy,” and “transphobia” would have puzzled most Americans. Now, it echoes everywhere, in public and private and professional life.
It’s a social matter, a crossroads. “Do I speak my mind and annoy the present company? Or just nod and move on?”
<...>
It’s a losing game. Save your breath—don’t try to argue, don’t defend. The wokester is strong on belief and weak on knowledge, no matter how much she thinks she knows the real history of things. To be woke is precisely this claim of superior knowledge, a keener awareness than that of those still un-woke, asleep in their illusions of, say American greatness.
<...>
Instead of challenging the wokester’s knowledge, let’s go with the wokester’s knowledge and draw it out. Let her school us, let her show us her certainty and let’s accept her duty to instruct the ignorant. She wants to be a pedagogue; we shall accept the position of pupil.
<...>
In truth, wokeness doesn’t appeal to her intelligence and never did. It flattered her ego. Now, faced with questions directly related to what she has just stated, the certitude crumbles and the ego collapses. You have asked her for knowledge, and she hasn’t replied. She can’t.

You’ve won. It’s time to hum a few bars of Beethoven, mouth some words of Polonius, praise the dimensions of Greek columns, and detail what the Comanches did to their neighbors, and see if she’s ready to listen.

Excusing his tendency to hyperbole, one finds it hard to disagree when Donald Trump talks about how much better things were before the “China virus” ruined his reelection effort and set the country on a path of decline. The America that existed before COVID, the George Floyd revolution, and the rigged 2020 election is not so far in the past, but it was a completely different world.

Gas was cheap, crime was down, the border was secure, and the country was a lot freer. Words like “misinformation” were seldom heard on the lips of bureaucrats or neighbors deputized by them, and one didn’t fear losing employment or the right to travel for refusing an experimental drug. Believe it or not, before those momentous, nightmarish months of violence and upheaval that changed everything, Trump was on a glide path to victory, having been cleared of impeachment over a long-forgotten “perfect phone call” with Ukraine.
<...>
A deceptive semblance of normalcy, with a corrupt Silent Generation zombie as its face, masks a radical new reality, a tyrannical, devitalized “new normal” of mediocrity. The economy is on the verge of collapse, the price of consumer goods has skyrocketed, and crime is higher than it has been in decades. The flames of George Floyd’s martyrdom have died down, but the revolution still burns with the imprimatur of power. Never has racial hatred been more overtly expressed with such authority to so wide a swath of the country.

We hear the labor market is hot, but service at stores and restaurants is slow to nonexistent. The smell of pot, with its stench of torpor and decay, is inescapable. If you live in the city, odds are your streets have been ceded to criminals and lunatics. The suburbs aren’t safe from the constant schemes of the busybodies, either. These incompetent thugs, equipped with dubious “expertise,” are now accustomed to making more and more intrusive demands of a public demoralized by years of constant, idiotic propaganda.

In the 1970s, we were warned about an oncoming ice age. In the ’80s, acid rain warnings were prevalent. In the ‘90s, we were told that the ozone layer was imperiled. In the aughts, the polar icecaps were said to be endangered.

None of the above happened, of course, but when you are a true believer, little things like reality are shoved aside.
<...>
In fact, schools are front and center for the climate crazies. Yes, in addition to teaching white six-year-olds that they are oppressors, that there are 87 genders, and that men can breastfeed, kids are being warned that the planet is going to become a living hell because of man-made global warming unleashed on us by evil corporations.
<...>
If you have any doubts that “climate alarmism” is a religion, the University of Helsinki confirmed this in March when it announced that it was bestowing 20-year-old climate evangelist Greta Thunberg with an honorary doctorate in theology.

Worth noting is that Thunberg admitted in a 2019 interview that what she knew about climate change she learned in school. But of course, her school never explained that climate change is anything but “settled science.” Her school didn’t teach her that before it was called climate change, it was known as global warming, and before that, global cooling. It is highly doubtful that her school taught her about other cases of apocalyptic prophecy like acid rain, the population bomb, and, notably, Chicken Little. Her school probably never taught her about the Salem witch trials, where mass hysteria took over a town in Massachusetts in 1692, and people were tragically imprisoned and hanged.
<...>
Climate change is strictly a religion of the left. The messaging is as heavy-handed as catechism in a religious school. And, at the same time, critical thinking is becoming a truly endangered species in our schools and throughout much of society. This is a truly apocalyptic problem.

You should be beyond outraged that everything Joe Biden and this freak show of an administration touches turns to dog excrement.

Name one accomplishment that has come from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. You can’t. Name a single cabinet member who is competent at his job. You can’t.

From inflation, to combating crime, to maintaining law and order, to securing our border, to education, to foreign policy, this decrepit, senile old man and his radical woke handlers are a never ending dumpster fire of mass destruction to the United States.

The current occupant of the White House has the brains of a sloth, the charisma of Jabba the Hutt, the humor of Joy Behar, the creepiness of Jack Nicholson in “The Shining,” the integrity of Pinocchio, the gracefulness of a sumo wrestler, and the energy of a raccoon found on the side of Interstate 75.

Was that too harsh? Maybe, but I don’t care.
<...>
And while all of this is obvious to anyone with a room temperature IQ, the simple fact is, we cannot afford four more years of this Marxist, anti-American administration. Heck, we can barely afford another second, before our currency is worth nothing, gas is completely unaffordable, our oil reserve is completely depleted, and China, Russia and Iran continue to terrorize the world.

The last two years have served as a wake up call that we will not remain a republic if these people remain in charge.

Of course every election cycle is important, but there really is no election more consequential to the future of our country than the 2024 race.

Which Republican candidate, declared or undeclared, has the best chance to win the general election?

Which Republican candidate, declared or undeclared, has shown that he can consistently win on election day?
<...>
To which state has everyone been moving in order to escape dystopian leftist hellscapes, and to experience a taste of freedom?

The answers to these questions should be straightforward, but the time to start having these conversations is right now.

As a healthy 29-year-old, my likelihood of dying from the virus is practically nil, so why risk the blood clots? And before anyone accuses me of trying to murder granny, shouldn’t she be immune to the virus if she gets the vaccine? Whether that’s actually true seems to be the topic of some debate. We’ll have to follow The Science™, then parse through its legitimacy relative to its political value for Democrats (that’s a new step in the scientific method) before we can know for sure.
<...>
Personal liberty is not the reason I’m avoiding it, either. I’m not a member of the “don’t tread on me” club. I’m not here to take a principled stand against the federal or state governments on this issue. In fact, I’m saving my principled stands against the federal or state governments for issues that really matter, like strengthening libel laws so that lying journalists can finally be shipped off to Guantanamo Bay where they belong.

My primary reason for refusing the vaccine is much simpler: I dislike the people who want me to take it, and it makes them mad when they hear about my refusal. That, in turn, makes me happy.

Maybe it’s petty, but the thought of the worst people on planet earth, those whom I like to call the Branch Covidians, literally shaking as I stroll into Target vaccine-free, makes me smile.
<...>
I also don’t care whether you decide to get the vaccine. It’s really none of my business.

Perhaps you’re not as committed to upsetting the enemy as I am. That is fine.

Perhaps you just want to go on a cruise vacation again. If so, call Bill Kristol or Jonah Goldberg and have your vaccine identification card ready. Godspeed.

In Rand’s conception, beneath the apparent power of the statist movement lies a hollow, rotten core. One crack of the hard exterior causes the whole thing to come tumbling down. More than 30 years before the fall of the Soviet Union, Rand saw the inherent weakness of a system that survives by crushing freedom.

Social justice, climate change, criminal justice “reform,” gender-affirming “care,” critical race theory, ESG—all of these utopian ideals have made things worse. The great spasm of protests and violence in 2020 following the death of George Floyd aggravated race relations by normalizing “trainings” in workplaces and schools during which openly bigoted propaganda shamed Americans for the color of their skin. Woke corporate executives engage in soft embezzlement as they redirect scarce company resources to profit-destroying social justice objectives. And pushing “gender-affirming” sex surgeries results in more teen suicides not fewer, as the proponents promised. Looking into her crystal ball, Rand got things almost exactly right.
<...>
Political oppression, which the Left has merely piloted thus far, will need to ramp up dramatically if the Left is to maintain power. Promises of freedom, prosperity, and equality soon gave way to oppression as restive citizens asked for new leadership in Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. When you hear the Left promise the “end of democracy” if Americans vote them out of power, you had better listen.
<...>
All of the institutional power the Left possesses will mean nothing if they don’t have the ability to intimidate. And the power of intimidation begins with a great big bluff against the far more powerful American citizenry. The Left’s power rests on the shoulders of a great American Atlas—millions of ordinary Americans who silently seethed through the past six years of left-wing power grabs. And that Atlas need only shrug at the next round of faux crisis hysteria, and the Left’s power will collapse overnight.

Thaddeus G. McCotter #wingnut #conspiracy amgreatness.com

But the Left’s coveting of the Iran nuke deal serves a far larger purpose, one that transcends even their intermediate goal of the United States abandoning our strategic interests and allies, notably in the Middle East. The Left’s long-term goal? A “multipolar world.”

There are two prime drivers of the Left’s quest for a “multipolar” world.

In a multipolar world, the United States would no longer be the sole superpower; and power would be more evenly distributed among other nations. The Left’s pursuit of a multipolar world is a logical extension of its irrational loathing of America as a fascist, racist, misogynistic, homophobic nation of haters. Its delusional domestic aim to “fundamentally transform” America and “liberate” its “marginalized” citizens is mirrored in the Left’s foreign policy aim of transforming the current Pax Americana into a multipolar world. It is a goal the Western Left shares with Communist China, which also seeks to liberate the world from the evil American “hegemon.”

The second prime driver is the Left’s embrace of “moral equivalency.” The Left does not employ its moral equivalency to improve the image of our free republic. Unfortunately, there is no equivalent intellectual integrity in the Left’s assessment of not only America’s adversaries but also of the enemies of democracy and human dignity, such as Communist China, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.. Yet, because these regimes are on the Left and, thus, in the eyes of the Western Left they seemingly can do no wrong.
<...>
And, like their ahistorical revision of America as a systemically, intrinsically evil nation, the Left decries our free republic as the major impediment to global stability—despite all the historical evidence. Nonetheless, when one cuts through the Left’s calumnies and cant, the choice is crystalline: the Pax Americana or the pox multipolar?

The choice remains yours. Pray, choose wisely.

How do you imagine the woke beast? It is rough, surely, and slouches towards some unprofitable venue, so not Bethlehem.

I think of it as something ravenous but episodic in its appetites, a sort of Polyphemus for hire. It gorges in a destructive frenzy and then retreats to some dank corner to belch and sleep and slobber. Then forgetfulness spreads its enervating fog and the Zeitgeist enjoins us to put it all behind us because, after all, what difference at this point does it make™?

I thought about the habits of the woke beast this week when the popular cartoonist and social commentator Scott Adams found himself caught in its masticating maw. When it comes to practitioners of his craft and sullen art, few can be more innocuous than Scott Adams. He is best known as the creator of Dilbert, a comic casualty of modern office bureaucracy. Adams also runs a subscription video podcast in which he drinks coffee and comments on current events. It was a 30- or 40-second bit of the latter that awakened the woke beast.
<...>
Adams notes that he had been in the habit of identifying as black because he wanted to do what he could to help black people. A recent poll from Rasmussen changed his mind. To the question “Is it OK to be white” nearly half the black respondents answered “no, it is not OK to be white” or said they were uncertain.

Adams was taken aback by the results of this poll. Among other things, it suggested that racism was not a white monopoly, as we have been taught to believe. Adams reasoned, then that means that a large percentage of black people are racist.

Ergo, he revised his earlier position. Now, instead of identifying as black and doing what he could to help black people, he advises whites to withdraw. Of course, you should be “friendly,” he stressed. But “based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from black people.”

Oh, the howls of outrage that comment elicited!

Matthew Boose #wingnut #racist #sexist #conspiracy amgreatness.com

The phrase “our democracy” has become a pervasive cliche in American politics. But who is the subject in this presumptuous expression? Although never defined explicitly, the answer is implicit in what it does not include. To a greater and greater extent, American politics revolves around black people, women, and immigrant populations from the Third World, which together form the core of the Democratic party. The remnants of the old country are now facing obsolescence, with only a weak vessel, the Republican party, to defend them.

The right, whether out of denial, cowardice, or a lack of imagination, has failed to grapple with the deep roots of its demise. Republicans ostracized “nativists” and helped facilitate the demographic replacement of their own voters with the delusion that cheap Third World day laborers are “natural conservatives,” overlooking the most naturally conservative constituency of all: white men. The right failed to conserve gender roles, as women left the home and became angry foot soldiers of a socialist revolution.
<...>
The left isn’t wrong when they paint conservatives as natural enemies of “our democracy.” There is nothing conservative about the radically egalitarian system that governs the country, which turns politics into a race to the bottom, a game at which the left naturally excels. The left, in all times and places, has thrived on destruction and decay. The muddled, obese, foreign mass that is today called “the American people” has only a faint connection to the sturdy, adventurous Anglo-Saxons who founded the nation.
<...>
Those who find the present state of things tolerable, or even good, will never be shaken out of their delusions. One cannot feel too sorry for them when they come face to face with the creatures vomited out of the belly of their beloved “democracy.” If there is any hope of leaving this cesspool of mediocrity and disorder, it lies not with soft and flabby conservatism but a politics that is willing to raise the bar.

By the way, Kenosha Kyle is not “at clear moral fault for the two deaths,” unless people like Hillyer are prepared to argue that the moral thing to do when faced with imminent death, as Kenosha Kyle clearly was, is to roll over and die. And let it be known for the record that one of the dead Communists was a pedophile. The other was a domestic abuser. While we’re arguing morality, those two details ought to be included in the discussion.

Never mind that, though. There’s a more basic point to be argued here.

Nobody, especially not anyone on the political Right, is required to cede the streets of their communities to violent Communists who intend to burn them to the ground. Kyle Rittenhouse and his friends had as much of a right to be out on those streets as the violent Communists, as the reporters, as the casual observers, and as anyone else did.
<...>
If the authorities are unwilling to protect our livelihoods, our property, and our lives, it is our responsibility to step up and do it ourselves. Absent law enforcement to quell violent riots, the only outcome will be total leftist anarchy. If defending our communities ourselves or watching enraged, misfit delinquents take a torch to them are our only options, give me the 17-year-old with the AR-15. I’d choose him every single time.
<...>
Do you think the Biden Administration is going to do anything to stop them? Or the FBI that has all but deputized these black-clad Marxists to be their soldiers in that agency’s war on the Right? Of course not. Joe Biden doesn’t know what planet he’s on, and the FBI hates you.

Local law enforcement, I’m sad to say, will likely be just as worthless. The people in charge of these contentious cities and suburbs are nearly always Democrats, ready to give a stand-down order to local police at a moment’s notice.

Whether Rittenhouse is acquitted—and he should be—does not matter.

The conservative movement’s broad trajectory on family is one of loss after loss: feminism, followed by the gay revolution, followed by same-sex marriage, and followed soon (perhaps) by trans rights. The reversal of Roe v. Wade may point to a partial victory, depending on what states do and whether a culture of life becomes a culture of motherhood; few seem willing to stick their necks out for such an outcome.
<...>
Genuine conservatives sense that the future of the country depends on reversing family decline, but family decline at this point seems inevitable and fated, sown into the American regime and indeed the modern situation.

As it pertains to marriage, the rolling revolution begun in the 1960s is about liberating sexual desire from procreation, marriage, and parenthood. Sometimes this means embracing contraception so sex is detached from procreation (hindering nature). Or it can mean encouraging women to shun childbearing and child-rearing and to prioritize careers (compromising nature). The accumulation of these practices, always done in the name of autonomy or conquering nature, has everywhere led to the decline of family life. This rolling sexual revolution cultivates a new sexual ethic supporting what may be called the Queer Constitution (in contrast to our former Straight Constitution), which has become central to Americanism and its ruling class.
<...>
For society, embracing the Queer Constitution combines the costs of having weak, adult-focused marriage customs with all the costs associated directly with this constitution. The perversities will keep mounting, as advocates for the Queer Constitution are clearly coming for the children, a fact they themselves now openly admit.

All civilizational founders recognized the importance of promoting a straight constitution and stigmatizing its alternatives. The New Right must follow the deep wisdom of such founders where it leads. Only a return to an uncompromising Straight Constitution can reverse our decline.

In some sense, the country for recent years has been cruising on the fumes from prior and likely better wiser generations and institutions. In 2024, the tab for our current apathy, toxic politics, and incompetence will come due.

So next year we will likely see the climax to a number of current dangerous ideas, events, and forces, which finally will either overwhelm us or be addressed and remedied. We live in a Neronian age but can recover if we first understand how we got here and the nature of the suicide we are committing.
<...>
Either adversaries will be so emboldened to start regional wars—an impotent Iran now brags it will block the entire Mediterranean—or a United States will be shocked into action and have to deter Iran, the Houthis, and Islamic terrorism, while dealing with an opportunistic China eager to annex Taiwan, and Russia determined to finish off Ukraine.

Those challenges will force the military to staunch its recruitment hemorrhaging, rectify low morale, and rearm. Such rebooting in turn will require discarding the woke agenda, stopping the DEI proselytizing and virtue signaling, and returning to a meritocracy focused on military preparedness and battlefield efficacy.
<...>
In 2024, either the border will close, or the United States will suffer radical political realignments, sheer chaos in our major cities, protests from Americans furious over the complete flaunting of federal law by their own elected officials, and a likely impeachment of Joe Biden for deliberately forsaking his oath to “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States.”
<...>
Will we meet these challenges or ensure the ongoing decline?

If what we saw after October 7, or the wild and out-of-control reign of weaponized local and state prosecutors, or the paralyses we witness abroad of our military, or our officials promise groups here and abroad billions of dollars in easy money, continues into 2024, then the country as we knew it will become unrecognizable.

When Martin Luther King, Jr. called for emphasizing the “content of our character” over “the color of our skin,” the subtext was “stop judging people as a faceless collective on the basis of their superficial appearance and instead look to them as individuals with unique characters.”

It is tragic that King’s plea for an integrated, assimilated society, in which race became incidental, not essential to our personas, has mostly been abandoned by the Left in favor of racial stereotyping, collective guilting, and scapegoating by race and gender.

Indeed, many of the old Confederate pathologies—fixation on racial essence, obsession with genealogy, nullification of federal laws, states’ rights, and segregated spaces and ceremonies—are now rehabilitated by woke activists.
<...>
Like the mysterious omnipresence of transgenderism in popular culture, all of a sudden, the obsession with whites as a Satanic collective has become a national fad—a pet-rock or hula-hoop-like collective madness.
<...>
The dearth of actual racism also demands a new set of adjectives that serve as something like sophisticated detectors to discover otherwise invisible natural gas fumes. The adjective “systemic” means only the select can now spot racism. Like air, it is everywhere but invisible and thus requires battalions of diversity, equity, and inclusion inspectors to use their training to expose it in the common atmosphere.
<...>
We know from history the ultimate destination of tribal chauvinism, and it is not pretty. Once a society retribalizes, it descends into a Hobbesian war of all against all. Everyone eventually seeks out or manufactures a tribal identity for self-protection. Tribalism operates on the principles of proliferation: if a neighboring nation goes nuclear, then everyone in the neighborhood must too.

Unless some passengers on our runaway train force our engineers to hit the brakes, we are headed over the cliff into Yugoslavia.

The decade-long French Revolution that broke out in 1789 soon devolved into far more than removing the monarchy, as it became antithetical to the earlier American precedent. American notions of liberty and freedom were seen as far too narrow, given the state, if only all-powerful and all-wise, could mandate “equality” and force “fraternity” among its subjects.

Each cycle of French revolutionary fervor soon became more radicalized and cannibalistic—until it reached its logical ends of violent absurdity.

Originally, the idea of curbing the power of a Bourbon king through a parliamentary republic became lethally counter-revolutionary.
<...>
Jacobins sought to wipe out religion, both materially and spiritually. They replaced God, first, with the atheistic “Cult of Reason” and then a stranger still “Cult of the Supreme Being”—a dreamed-up, living, humanistic god that only the murderous Robespierre could fully envision, but eerily similar to our own Green New Deal deity.
<...>
We are swept up in similarly scary revolutionary times, after the perfect storm of the 2020 rioting, the COVID destructive lockdowns, and a radical socialist takeover of the old Democratic Party.

Decades of successful and legitimate efforts to ensure equality of opportunity, a safety net for the poor, and increased civil liberties have transmogrified into an “equity” agenda, or state-mandated equality of result—or else!
<...>
We have not descended to the guillotine yet, but we are getting there with online cancel culture, doxxing, deplatforming, boycotts, mandatory diversity statements, indoctrination training, ostracism for an incorrect word, and violence redefined as activism.
<....>
Like Revolutionary France, our woke revolution was contrary to human nature and therefore had to be imposed by force or coercion.

Nihilism is the religion of the Left. Anarchy is now at the core of the new Democratic Party.

If the Left wished radically to alter the demography of the U.S., it could have expanded legal immigration through legislation or the courts.

Instead, it simply erased the border and dynamited federal immigration law.

Or was it worse than that when candidate Joe Biden in September 2019 urged would-be illegal aliens to “surge” the border?

As a result, through laxity and entitlement incentives, eight-million illegal entrants have swarmed the southern border under the Biden administration.

They are swamping border towns, bankrupting big-city budgets, and infuriating even Democratic constituencies.

The same nihilism applies to crime.
<...>
Criminals are arrested and released the same day. Is the nihilist plan to destroy the entire body of American jurisprudence, and to ensure “equity” in being victimized?
<...>
The old idea was to use these unmatched resources to transition gradually to other cleaner fuels such as hydrogen, fusion power, solar, and wind. That way consumers would still enjoy affordable energy. And the United States could remain independent of coercion by the oil-producing Middle East.

But that was not the nihilist way.

Instead, the left deliberately cut back on pipelines, new energy leases, and fracking. It bragged of an upcoming ban on fossil fuels. In drought-stricken, energy-short California, the state is blowing up, not building new dams.

Is the nihilist agenda to punish with bankrupcy the energy-using middle class?
<...>
In sum, we are witnessing an epidemic of leftist nihilism similar to the 16th-century European mad wave of iconoclastic destruction of religious art.

Or is the better parallel the suicidal insanity that Mao Zedong unleashed during his cultural revolution of the 1960s?

The old politics of right versus left, and Republican opposed to Democrat have now given way to a new existential struggle: Americans must choose between civilization—or its destroyers.

Eric Lendrum #wingnut amgreatness.com

That is why, above all else, the Right should stop trying to qualify their stances on January 6 with an obligatory disavowal, or an “I’m not like those conservatives” statement, in an attempt to appease the Left. The Left sees all 74 million Trump voters, and all white Americans, as enemies, regardless of how they feel about January 6. Some so-called “leaders” on the Right will go out of their way to denounce the January 6 protesters, yet in the end, everyone who does not submit to the Left’s agenda will eventually be taken out.

January 6 may largely have been about voter fraud in the 2020 election, but that was not the only motivation. January 6 was a reaction to a long train of abuses and usurpations perpetrated against the American people by an entrenched elite class that has infected our institutions.

The only course of action at this point is to be just as firm in our stance as the Left is. If they truly want to address January 6 by making dramatic historical comparisons, then so should we. If their aim is to make January 6 their Reichstag Fire, then we should go forward celebrating the events of that day as our Storming of the Bastille; a day where a symbol of the degeneration of our ruling class into total corruption and tyranny was challenged, and the elites were shown just what happens when millions of freedom-loving citizens finally grow sick and tired of a boot perpetually stomping on their necks. The parallels between France in 1789 and America in 2022 are stronger than one might think; we even have our very own Marie Antoinette.

It should not have had to come to this point, but the Left has forced the nation to this brink, whether we like it or not. One side is prepared to do everything necessary to secure their political power, so the other side must be prepared to resist every step of the way with equal determination. One side understands the stakes at play as we enter this brave new world; so too must the other side. One side understands that January 6 was a turning point in our history. Our side, once again, needs to catch up.

Albin Sadar #wingnut #conspiracy amgreatness.com

The release of more video and cell phone tapes from January 6 by new House Speaker Mike Johnson shows further evidence of a setup by the Feds that their so-called insurrection was staged.

All sides will acknowledge the fact that then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to have extra security on January 6. However, there is a bigger question that no one, Left, Right or Center, seems to be asking:

Why?

Why wouldn’t Pelosi want to be sure that “Democracy was secure” so that Vice President Mike Pence could certify the Electoral College vote? Making sure that the Capitol was safe and sound would mean that Joe Biden’s presidency would be assured. After all, the election of 2020 was “the most secure in American history,” so why wouldn’t you want that obvious fact certified and rubber-stamped by Congress?

The only obvious answer to why Pelosi wanted to guarantee a riotous breach of the Capitol was what she knew would be the actual results of the Electoral College vote if the process were allowed to run its course. Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, among others, had previously made noise about challenging election results in several swing states. And despite what many have debated, there was tangible potential for Pence to delay the certification for a couple of weeks to look into the evidence of significant vote-tampering and fraud.
<...>
With each passing day, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the two biggest blemishes recently on America as a great and free nation are the stolen presidential election of 2020, and the subsequent incarceration of those patriots who exercised their guaranteed First Amendment right to free speech to contest it.
<...>
So, what next?

Unless the country itself can see that the narrative presented by the Left regarding January 6, 2021, was a smoke screen for the real insurrection of November 3, 2020, America will need to brace itself for a repeat performance of that nefarious action on November 5, 2024.

Why did Trump surrender at all?

Alvin Bragg is a rogue prosecutor acting outside the boundaries of the law. Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, said he would not cooperate in any extradition. If Trump did not surrender, he might simultaneously have defied this nonsense charge and also put DeSantis, his likely opponent, in a bind.

DeSantis does not want to appear to be Trump’s lackey, but he also wants to keep his word. His P.R. gesture eventually would have come crashing down, as a governor does not really have authority to defy an extradition request. But forcing DeSantis’s hand would take some time, and it might have redounded to Trump’s benefit when DeSantis eventually caved.

Not only should Trump not have surrendered, he should be looking for ways to get his allies to sue and prosecute his enemies, including this lunatic Manhattan prosecutor. Starting now, states are going to need to develop creative means of resistance to the federal government, as well against blue states, which are engaged in lawless, extraterritorial power grabs. We need to dust off the 19th century playbook of nullification.
<...>
For all his faults and his New York cynicism, Trump still believes in America. The old one. This is why he says Make America Great Again. He thinks the country and its institutions are fundamentally good, that its people are decent, and that truth, justice, and prosperity will prevail once again when this temporary emergency passes.

This is why he highlights the hypocrisy of his mistreatment by the Democrats, the intelligence community, and the Department of Justice. For him, this is all a deviation from an otherwise workable and just system. Remove the bad actors and the bad precedents, and things return to normal.

Unfortunately, this is all very doubtful, not least because his trials are simply a more extreme example of bureaucratic resistance to democracy that has taken hold since the New Deal.

There are things that transcend time and ideology, in spite of all efforts to the contrary, and it is these that make us human. Sexual tension and especially love, that is to say all things relating to eros, are part of that transcendence. Eros is among the more mysterious and powerful forces we live for, or at least, we should live it as it is the driving force of life, creativity, and abundance. The world which we inhabit right now, however, seems devoid of this tug as it is devoid of the desire for life such erotic moments indicate are part of our nature. We have worked even harder than the communists did at designing an erosless world, a machine to churn out purely perfunctory artifacts, the purposes of which are, paradoxically, meaningless.
<...>
The transgender ideology is an attack on both masculinity and femininity. If the falsehoods of this ideology were actually true, transgender people would be in a half-human state. Neither male nor female, they would be suspended in some anti-metaphysical status—alive but not partaking in human being. They would be incapable (whether physically or mentally) to truly engage in a sexual act. Their self-imposed, mechanical celibacy is based on an unhappy turn inward. By electing a state that is neither male nor female, they have chosen the annihilation of eros.
<...>
One cannot quantify sex and eros. It is a relationship that is mysterious. To be sure, erotic acts and encounters have their own language and their own unique revolution. Desire is a form of turmoil, of unsteadiness, and of yearning. But it also has a kind of resolution in the life-giving power that it generates. But this revolution and resolution have nothing to do with the ordinary sort of politics and ideology that so engage our consciousness today. Eros, in the end, is based on human vulnerability, on the fragile balance between a man and a woman, on a mystery of being, and the relationship between lover and the beloved.

Of course, the whole purpose of constitutions is to limit power. In a constitutional system like ours, one is not supposed to be motivated by crushing one’s enemies. This has never been the inclination or aim of conservatives, who do not share the Left’s aversion to limits on political power. But things have changed. What happens when one side has no regard for the constitution or the limits of power? The goodwill of the conservative has been mercilessly abused, and he is searching for shelter from the obscene freak show of anarchy and disorder that has descended upon his country. .
<...>
Why bother defending those who militate against free speech except to defend child drag shows and racialist propaganda in schools, and who would, if given the opportunity, censor all opposition from the Right without hesitation?

This may not be a “principled” way of thinking, as some conservatives understand it, but it is not an unreasonable approach in times of such enmity and trouble. The increasingly medieval nature of American politics has left many feeling that a faith in what used to be called principle is outdated and foolish. The two dominant factions now resemble hostile nations living under one government while speaking completely foreign languages. Consequently, politics has become a struggle for survival in which, because of universal suffrage, all are conscripted. The inconsequential noise of mutual recrimination leads many to tune out, but to do so, to remain unallied, is to let oneself be trampled.

This is a sad state of affairs, but it is reality. The inducements for the Right to ditch conservatism are likely to multiply as the conflict deepens, convulsions of disorder worsen, and more people on the Right begin to realize they will never be left alone. The irony is that the Left, in the process of steamrolling normal people, may have created the very “fascists” they claim to be against.

The madness of postmodern Anglo-American progressivism far exceeds Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland, whose inhabitants can hardly run fast enough to remain in the same place. In 21st-century America and Great Britain, progressive people—running as hard as they can—are working to drag their civilization backward into the pre-civilization that used to be called barbarism.

<...>
Liberals have long considered themselves defensores artium atque literarum and the fine arts: partly as a means of self-justification, as until recently they contributed so heavily to all of them. Yet from the beginning of the 20th century down to the present day, liberals and their progressive heirs have viewed artistic production as being valuable in its own right, not for anything art might signify about transcendental realities. Indeed, now that self-described artistes are agnostics or—more commonly—frank atheists, large numbers of liberal-progressives have “advanced” beyond appreciating art for art’s sake to recognizing and exploiting its inestimable value as a vehicle for progressive propaganda.
<...>
Progressive utopia is a therapeutic world of correct attitudes, carefully calibrated and monitored speech, and the scrupulous avoidance of aggressions, “microaggressions,” and “conflict.” It would value speech, expressed sentiment, and various other forms of social signaling over action, and thus—ironically—stagnation over “progress.” And it would be a world of complete equality where, as in Carroll’s Wonderland, all have won and all must have prizes. In this world, no one’s ideas are contradicted and everyone is included in everything; everyone is (somehow) affluent, healthy, and long-lived, and pain of any kind—physical or mental—has ceased to exist, owing to a benevolent, well-funded (but how?), all-powerful, and all-seeing central government. Climate change has been halted and reversed, due to unanimous respect for “the science”—and even more for the scientists behind it.

There was a golden age of low crime after World War II and before the “Age of Aquarius.”

Lulled into optimism by the 1950s—during which critics belabored the oppressions of “conformity”—a more nuanced view of criminal responsibility, a turn towards the promise of rehabilitation, and a general skepticism of punishment took place. “Radical chic” became popular. The death penalty went away, and the prison population plummeted, along with that of the psychiatric wards.

Then, all hell broke loose.

The Post-1960s Crime Wave

Violent crime of all kinds underwent a sustained rise after the tumultuous atmosphere of the 1960s and the associated weakening of the criminal justice system. The cause and effect were obvious, but there was a lot of head-scratching about what to do.

Confined by the straightjacket of liberal morality, cities and their leaders were powerless to respond, ensnared by their anxieties about being associated with the very oppression from which they thought they were liberating us.
<...>
We have seen both sides of this ledger, the hollowed out cities of Baltimore and Detroit, and the return of life to our big cities like New York and Washington, D.C. after their massive drop in crime. For the latter, “Arts . . . Letters . . . and Society” all flourished.
<...>
The BLM Crime Wave

Beginning in the second part of the Obama Administration, this all started to change. The idea of the noble, oppressed criminal as a warrior for racial justice gained currency. Rather than supporting law enforcement and condemning criminal violence, President Obama and the mainstream media spread lies about “gentle giant” Michael Brown and St. Trayvon Martin.
<...>
Rather than groveling for approval or attempting to navigate the maze of their alternative morality, soft-headed leftism should be rejected out of hand. The Left’s indifference to consequences and manifest record of failure renders them moral imbeciles, and the blood of innocents is on their hands.

This Fourth of July holiday we might pause for a moment from our festivities to ask how we collectively lost our minds over the last 15 months—and are we yet regaining any semblance of our sanity?
<...>
Our first self-induced recession came next and lasted over a year, destroying all the hard work of the prior three years. Next ensued the death of George Floyd and a subsequent 120 days of rioting, looting, and arson. The immediate costs were $2 billion in damage, over 25 deaths, 14,000 arrests, and a Lord of the Flies anarchy with no-go zones in our major cities. A McCarthyite frenzy followed, as remote-controlled America hunted down the supposed “racists” among us—while career agendas, personal grudges, and ideological hatred fueled the cancel culture.
<...>
The derangement was then capped off, first, by a buffoonish riot at the Capitol followed by a Reichstag-fire style militarization of Washington, D.C., in a “never let a crisis go to waste” psychodrama. It was based on the myth of a deadly “armed insurrection” fueled by President Trump, which purportedly led to the murder of a police officer. Later most of the writs of the House impeachment were proven fantasies, from the idea of “armed” and “well-organized” to “murderous” revolutionaries.

The finale was the promise of a “moderate” good ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton—the supposed correction to Trump. In reality, Biden’s first 150 days proved, as the cynics predicted, that he was mere cover and conveyance for the implementation of the most radical agenda since the 1930s.

So we can cut America some slack when we ponder why the entire country is now descending into a collective madness, given the amount of propaganda and media distortion pumped out during the quarantine.

When it becomes necessary for a leader to relinquish trust in order to restore it, and devote himself to the duties of his office by not seeking another term in office, a leader honors the people. We have Joe Biden instead, who has malice toward one-third or more of the American people. To the unvaccinated, he forecasts a winter of severe illness and death. He damns the living, libeling them with the blood of innocents, days before the birthday of the Nazarene whose blood cleanses us from all sin. This is Joe Biden’s Christmas message.

The message is from a Catholic who speaks like a Calvinist, adjudging others—grouping together over a hundred million Americans—to eternal death.

The message is that the sick are wicked, and healing the wicked is a sin, because those who would overwhelm hospitals deserve to die.

Biden’s message is the most ahistorical and antagonistic message of its kind, for it is without charity or kindness; and yet it is the most authentic message of its kind, for Biden has no charity or kindness for his fellow Americans.

His message is also a tell, that he cannot tell time, because no president with a sense of decency—no Catholic with the conscience of a Christian—would deliver this message.
<,,,>
When that day comes, whether it comes on the night of November 5, 2024, or the afternoon of January 20, 2025, the day will feel like Christmas.

The day will mark the end of lectures and recriminations, bringing with it the greatest gift of all: the peaceful transfer of power.

May we all live to see that day as God sees fit to give us that day, so we may no longer hide ourselves in daylight or be homebound for the remainder of our days or years.

In the interim, as we build back to better days, let us take time to mourn the dead and pray for the living.

Let us be watchful, patient, and grateful.

Whereas holidays and observances typically last a day or, on occasion, a week, the LGBTQIA+ lobby has an entire month devoted to “Pride.” And whatever you may think of Pride Month, there is no escaping it. Church services, baseball games, schools, etc., are forcing a radical sexual regimen, often hysterically, on all of us, and children, who tend to be sponges, are sopping it up.

This year, the victim angle has been in play on a grand scale. The American Federation of Teachers reports, “It’s been a rough year for the LGBTQIA+ community. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has issued a state of emergency for LGBTQIA+ people in the United States. More than 525 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills have been introduced in state legislatures; more than 76 have already passed."

In a nutshell, HRC, the country’s “largest and most influential activist organization representing the interests of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community,” finds that in some places, men not being allowed in women’s bathrooms and 10-year-olds not being allowed to pick their own gender qualify as an “emergency.”
<...>
Now why wouldn’t a teen want to be LGBT? These days, it’s cool! It’s rad!

In reality, the leap in numbers is social contagion. It’s the “in” thing, like owning a hula hoop, lava lamp, or mood ring. These older fads may have cost a few bucks at one time but they didn’t have the potential to damage anyone’s life.
<...>
If things are going to change, parents must be leaders in the fight against celebrating Pride Month and the rest of the agenda that is perverting youngsters. Do you want your kid’s school celebrating the “Queen of Drag?” Or are you in favor of your child’s teacher telling them they can pick their own gender? Maybe you don’t think that The Infinite Moment of Us, which features the line, “His cock strained against his jeans” should be in your child’s school library. Perhaps you would prefer your school acknowledge Flag Day or D-Day in June and omit Pride Month.

I concluded my second essay in this four-essay series noting conservative sorcery doesn’t work. But what of the sorcery of the enemy? What is it, and how does it work?

Generally speaking, people turn to thaumaturgy when an important goal cannot be achieved by ordinary non-magical means. The important goal may be palpable and simple, such as defeating an entrenched enemy, warding off an unpredictable danger, or changing the hearts that refuse to requite affection. That important goal may also be intangible, culturally driven, and complex.
<...>
In any event, with these important cultural goals established in irrational recesses of the American mind, both elite and vulgar, one finds magic. Where ordinary means are unable to achieve these goals, the public is easily bewitched; that is to say, when the public believes on a deep psychological level—what Carl Jung might have called the shadow—that it is threatened with destruction if it is not ostentatiously moral and that its principal moral flaw is its origins in slavery and the lasting vestiges of that institution, there is nothing it will not ostentatiously do to address what it can only perceive as an existential crisis.

If you have ever wondered why woke is so wildly exhibitionist, that is your answer. It has to be or the magic fails.

This is modern liberalism’s sorcery. It is based on compelling threads of American beliefs. It does not depend on a rational, Euclidian argument about the principles of the Declaration of Independence or on a pantheon of mythologized founders.

The magic works, and fantastically so. None of the abracadabra phrases like “government is the problem,” “my Constitution,” “a right to be left alone,” “taxation is theft,” “liberal fascism,” “communists,” or “German nihilism” nor necromancy with Plato, Spinoza, Nietzsche, Hegel or Heidegger can break the spell.

This does not, however, mean the spell is unbreakable. The Right needs new magic words.

What did the Left leave as the proper model for conservatives now to deal with Biden?

Impeach him when he loses the House? Get a special counsel, lavish said counsel with $40 million, a dream team of right-wing lawyers, and 22 months to find real Chinese collusion?

Start seeding a conservative version of Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman and an “anonymous” whistleblower inside the Biden octopus?

Get retired four-star generals on TV to swear Biden is a Chinese “asset,” or have them retweet the idea of sending Biden supporters to China, or swear that he is a fascist? Bring back Woodward and Bernstein to find out whether Biden, Inc. ever paid taxes on all that Chinese and Ukrainian cash?

Call in the ubiquitous Dr. Bandy X. Lee from Yale to administer the Montreal Cognitive Assessment to prove that Biden can distinguish a camel from an elephant or a train from a bike or count backwards from five?

Will the Right prod General Mark Milley’s replacement to collude with soon-to-be Speaker Kevin McCarthy and call the Russians to warn them that Biden is demented, democracy is “messy,” Kamala Harris is crazy, and thus Moscow might need a warning from us about any Biden preemptive aggression?
<...>
Meanwhile the media is reduced to explaining why an undocumented activist has an understandable right to chase a liberal Democratic senator into a public restroom, hector her, and then video her as she enters a stall to relieve herself and then post the grotesqueness on the internet—a felony in the state of the Arizona, though just part of the “process” for the president of the United States.

We could call the above insanity nemesis for woke hubris. Or maybe it is karma, “payback’s a bitch,” or “what goes around comes around.” But there is no schadenfreude in seeing the Left destroy everything it touches—because its claws tear all of us as well.

I said before the 2022 midterms that our choice of candidates doesn’t matter—and the elections won’t matter—unless we address voter fraud. That remains the case today, as we look forward to the next presidential election.

Democrats have known for a long time that voters by and large do not want them running the country. Voters don’t want to live in a feudal oligarchy where they work their entire lives to subsidize a jet-setting elite who tell them they can’t own gas stoves or prevent drag queens from visiting their children in school. And while it was enough, for a time, simply to lie about what they intended to do, Democrats discovered that it was more effective in the end to disconnect voters from the process of choosing who runs the government.
<...>
But the main reason reform is difficult is that no politician is going to reform the system that put him in power. Voter fraud is mostly organized by and for the benefit of Democrats. But it turned out in 2020 they had at least the tacit support of many Republicans, even those serving in Congress. Republicans who claimed to be eager to expose voter fraud suddenly, when it came down to the wire, melted into the background, never to be heard from again. This boat was not to be rocked.
<...>
What I would like for reform is a constitutional amendment requiring all ballots to be cast in-person, on Election Day, with proof of identity. According to politicians, this proposal makes me a racist (which I think is just their codeword for “someone who’s on to us.”) And I know this amendment is not going to happen because, again, you can’t expect people to reform the system that put them in power. It’s precisely this catch-22 that has led people, historically, to seek a complete overhaul, or overthrow, of the existing system as the only solution.

Fortunately, a real alternative exists: Trump-Kennedy 2024. A unity ticket. Not unity between the Republican and Democratic Parties, but unity among American voters.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) boss claimed that HIV can “infiltrate and kill” T-cells and “stimulate the response of other immune cells so that they eventually collapse from “overwork or confusion.” This caught the attention of Charles Thomas, who told reporters “No other virus is credited with such a dazzling repertoire of destructive skills.” HIV was “a simple retrovirus with a very simple genetic organization.”

In similar style, Peter Duesberg wondered, “What kind of virus, one day, out of nowhere, springs into action to destroy a person’s immune system with no provocation?” Never had a retrovirus been shown to cause a human disease, or even a disease in animals.
<...>
“The nails in the coffin of the HIV/AIDS paradigm have been hammered long ago by a long list of scientists and medical researchers,” Culshaw confirms. “The AIDS orthodoxy’s only counter to the points made and the questions raised consisted of ad hominem attacks including the word ‘denialist,’ as well as stating that the dissenting views have been ‘discredited,’ without any reference as to where those views have been discredited.”

Culshaw lists the empire’s failed predictions including, “HIV will spread rapidly through the population.” It didn’t and it wasn’t even close. During the 1980s people were also told that “By 1990, one in five heterosexuals will be dead from AIDS.” They weren’t, but Fauci retained his powerful position, with no accountability.

As NIAID director, Fauci controlled both public health policy and government spending on medical research. That dangerous concentration of power would deploy in force during the COVID pandemic.

In the final, revelatory book of the Bible, we are told to beware the “mark of the beast”—that is, the mark of the devil or Satan himself. The number 666 denotes it.
<...>
Today, we have a new, modern beastly mark to beware, and I would argue that it is anything and everything, with the prefix “multi.”

Let me explain.

Multi borrows from the Latin word “multus” (much, many), which in turn was derived from a Greek word meaning “very.” For our current purposes, it’s a shortened form of the word multiple but it can often spell pure evil and the opposite of the good or godly..

Multiculturalism

Multicultural constitutes several cultural or ethnic groups within a given society. <...> More recently in the United States, it has been embodied in critical race theory and racial hatred of white people and the larger culture, especially the American founding, and the institutions and Constitution it originated. In corporations, this trend is found in diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives that end meritocracy and all objective measures of performance and evaluation.
<...>
Multilateralism

In international relations, multilateral refers to alliances and détente among many countries pursuing a common goal or set of policies. This is in contrast to bilateral relations between two established sovereign countries. It is anti-sovereign in orientation and ultimately concludes in a movement to one world government and supranationalism.

Multifunctional

Multifunctionalism has led to the diminution of responsibility, complexity of life, and in social thought to the bureaucratization of policy in the administrative state.

Multisexual

The multisexual spectrum, also known as “M-spec,” bisexual umbrella, or plurisexual, is a sexuality term consisting of any and all labels that represent the sexual attraction to more than one gender. Multisexuality and transsexuality are the latest sinful turning away from God’s norms for human life and toward ungodly acts of idolatry and selfish hedonism.

What are those silly white people so nervous about? Republicans are in a panic over critical race theory! They’re afraid of things they don’t understand! Don’t they know that racism against whites, according to our phony-baloney definition of racism, is a logical impossibility?

We’re hearing a lot of talk like this these days. The Left is in a huff that Americans have started to notice the nonsense story we are constantly fed about race in America is precisely backwards. While we are told we live under “white supremacy,” dehumanizing, anti-white racism is increasingly pervasive in American life. It’s in schools across the country, where white children are indoctrinated to hate themselves because of their skin color. Corporations subject their workers to ritual humiliation about “whiteness” and what must be done to purge themselves, and society, of this evil. The federal government, under Joe Biden, is prosecuting a new draconian “war on extremism” that is, in reality, a shot across the bow at recalcitrant whites who refuse to accept this hostile treatment.

As Biden recently explained in Tulsa, white people are basically terrorists.
<...>
But hey, never mind all that! Those whites are just scared of progress!

If these teachings are not stopped, we will end up with generations trained to hate, with fanatical passion, an increasingly vulnerable racial group. What will America look like then?

What ultimately destroyed the evil empires of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia were bankrupt dogmas. Crackpot ideology destroyed free expression. It ruined meritocracy and ensured unequal application of the laws—and so paved the way for far worse.

The Nazi idea of a superior Aryan race adjudicated everything from physics to tank design. Soviet commissars did the same, subordinating rational thought to communist agendas.

Zealots in both systems infiltrated the universities and schools to institutionalize indoctrination.

Wokeism, while not yet as lethal, is similar.

Why were most Antifa and Black Lives Matter criminals who looted, destroyed, and assaulted during the 120 days of summer 2020 not charged, much less tried? Why, in contrast, were the January 6 rioters or the current Canadian truckers treated disproportionately harshly by the media?

Had the same rioters on January 6 been waving pride flags and BLM banners, would some of them have been sitting for a year in solitary confinement and still uncharged?

Had the criminal protestors and looters of summer 2020 been wearing red MAGA hats, would they also have mostly gotten off without charges?

What would have happened had conservative demonstrators cut out a police-free “MAGA Zone” in Seattle rather than the exempted Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone? Would the media similarly romanticized such illegality?

When ideology in places like Castroite Cuba, the old Soviet Union, and Venezuela warped the application of the law, destroyed the role of merit in assessing qualifications, silenced speech, and unequally applied the law, then society unwound.

In such ideological dystopias, eventually even the shelves empty, the currency becomes worthless, and the nation regresses into poverty and chaos. Is that the future we await?

Scarier still, ideology ensures that such chaos is heralded as success. Critics are demonized and hounded. And the obsequious state media assures the public that things are going just great.
