(Context: WolfeyVGC, who Verlis holds a near decade long grudge against due to alleged cheating at Pokémon, released a video were he stated that he was going on hiatus from in-person events due to being groped 5 times over the past 7 events he went to)

Looks like living a life of evil by exclusively lying, cheating, and stealing finally caught up to Wolfe Glick. Wolfey’s video is so disingenuous.

Regardless of whether this person cheated at a game 10 fucking years ago it is never, ever OK to grope someone. This person is victim blaming, plain and simple.

I don’t know the full context, but even if Wolfey cheated at a Pokémon match a decade earlier (though I’m not sure how that happens), repeated sexual harassment is not something you should laugh at, asshole.

I think Verlis has realized that basically no one who wasn’t part of his fanbase for a long time supports him any more and is just ragebaiting at this point.

Basically there are third party programs people use to create Pokémon without the work needed to normally get them. This is called genning, and while it's against the rules, most top VGC players do it (it's kinda like steroid use in baseball where everyone does it, but they don't talk about it).

Verlisify's accusations of cheating DO actually have merit to them (he commonly cites the creator of one of these programs who datamines top teams to see who gens and who doesn't), but his personality and reputation has killed his credibility.

So he technically cheated at a game over a decade ago, so that means he deserved to be sexually assaulted? WTF is wrong with you?

I was going to say that if you're holding a 10-year-old grudge about Pokémon, you should come back to reality.

But on second thought, we don't need any more butthurt losers in today's reality. Stay away, Verlis, stay far, far away.
