WORST ATTACKS IN US HISTORY (according to some fucking people):
The Japanese bombing an American military base in a strategic move that wound up backfiring
A bunch of Islamic terrorists driving planes into several national landmarks because the US didn't let them get away with whatever they wanted
A bunch of right-wing randos broke into Capitol Hill, took pictures and grabbed a couple of things
OOOOOOY...

January 6th was a large-scale premeditated domestic terrorist attack by armed insurgents attempting to overthrow the rightful US government, leading to several deaths, numerous injuries, a LOT of property damage, attempted violence against multiple members of the legislature, and the realization that a significant portion of the US population is completely divorced from reality. It definitely belongs on a list of the worst attacks in US History.
Well if those random idiots were not as incompetent as their leader than they would have actually killed most of US politicians. While I have no love for such people at least in perspective Republicans dying by the mob they themselves raised would be greatly ironic.
Still killing and looting = bad. So yeah it was the worst domestic terrorist attack and could go in history as the stupid brother of guy fawkes, perhaps you could get a movie out of it.
I thought it was a circus sideshow last year, the whole Capitol riots, probably because at the time, I was worrying about an actual military coup. And if you want to delve into American history, it was pretty mild compared to when the Capitol was actually burned in 1814.
Still, it’s no crime to take selfies in Washington government buildings, I’m sure, but domestic terrorism that kills people certainly is.
Well, it had more casulties than the Battle of Fort Sumter. Which is strange to not be listed here - yes, no one died, but it was the point where an armed insurrection (over someone who was against slavery but not an active abolitionist being elected) escalated into a four year civil war.
A terrorist attack on the US Military.
A terrorist attack on the people of the US.
A terrorist attack on US Democracy .
That's why there's no difference, Head Full Of Lard.
Certainly why there's no difference between enemies of the US: both foreign and domestic .
Jan 6 was about people wanting to overthrow gov't, believing lies, and wanted to instill a fascist ideology. 9/11 was consequence of fucked up foreign policy. Pearl harbour was what awoke sleeping dragon
Sure, initial reports painted a picture that looked more like rioting, goofing off and dumb costumes… but subsequent reports showed that 1/6 was faaaaar worse and a lot more than a protest that went out of hand with weirdos dressed like something out of a Frank Frazetta painting.

But to the OP, I say this; If the last one succeeded, a bunch of elected officials would’ve been dead, Mike Pence’s corpse hanging on a noose and your Orange messiah overthrowing a democratically elected president…
… then again, you’d see that as awesome, so my point has proven nothing to you… making you no better than Imperial Japan or Al Queda.
Confused?
