If Trump had not won in 2024, we would not recognize our country today. Just look at the border situation and the clown show unfolding in Spain and the rest of Europe. MIl say it again and again: Republicans are not the answer to all your problems, but Democrats are the source of every single one of them.

Well, of course you wouldn’t.
Because the US wouldn’t be recognised by the rest of the world as being fucked up by an orange fuckup.
And so many countries would still have good diplomatic relations with the US.
Since Trump did win in 2024, we are quickly descending into fascism. There are already over 4000 people detained by ICE who are missing, and that’s intentional. ICE moves people from facility to facility, back and forth across the country multiple times, which makes it so they can’t be reached or located by family or even their lawyers. All the while ICE is pressuring those they’re moving around into signing forms some of them can’t even read without the aid of counsel. These forms do things like waive the right to counsel or otherwise impede access to due process. It also potentially makes it much easier to kill the detainees without too many people knowing about it.
And that’s just one example. There are also the recent jailings of protestors with draconian punishments like 30 years in prison for distributing material advertising the protests, the murders of Joan Guerrero, Lorenzo Araujo, Alex Pretti, and Renée Good, or the military action that the president has been approving without Congressional oversight. And those are just a few of the many things going on right under our noses.
This is an absolute nightmare, and it could happen to any one of us. Some of us saw something like this coming and tried to warn people but one of the things about fascism is that it never happens in exactly the same way each time around. This phrase that is often wrongly attributed to Sinclair Lewis says it best:
When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.
I would add that it turns out American fascists also talk an awful lot about freeze peach.

Claims Republicans are the solution to everything wrong with the US… yet since Trump got back into office he and Republicans have increasingly making things worse for everyone, even their supporters and more and more people are becoming quite aware of that fact but that won’t stop Trump or folks like this will bend themselves backwards blaming the Democrats for everything, even shit that’s directly their fault.
Well, the typical conservative doesn’t know or care about a lot of the problems Trump is causing, or in the case of ICE, see it as the opposite of a problem… but surely they’re aware of the Tariff chaos?

That should have been a mathematical impossibility but with the mind-bending power of fucking idiotic incompetence that confuses gang warfare for superior tactics you have managed to bankrupt the American military and deplete your stocks. And because you are blatantly trying to rob everyone now nobody in their right mind is going to let you buy the materials you need to make any more weapons much less take an IOU or present themselves as your slave labour force because you made a few mean tweets.
