Jim Crow worked and lasted for a long time. So did slavery. Those are sane, stable solutions to the problem of having a racial underclass that is much less intelligent, much more impulsive, and much more violent than average.

Those things only ‘worked’ if you ignore all the times that they didn’t. And more violent? I’m guessing OP here does not know which group started most of the race riots, because it was not Black people who did it.

The 1967 Detroit riot, which I’ve grew up hearing about (and that song was written about, RIP Gordon Lightfoot) is maybe a “race riot” or not depending on who you talk to….but hey tho….he said “black people are more violent” or whatever? Hmm, let’s look at a line from that Wikipedia article then….

A total of 43 people died: 33 were black and 10 were white. Among the black deaths, 14 were shot by police officers; 9 were shot by National Guardsmen; 6 were shot by store owners or security guards; 2 were killed by asphyxiation from a building fire; 1 was killed after stepping on a downed power line; and 1 was shot by a federal soldier.

I’m guessing most of the policeman and National Guard were white at the time? I might be wrong, I dunno…but at least just by going from that, it seems like more violence was done TO black people than BY them, ya know?

Only if you're a WC. But like George Floyd, a lot of the black people accused of violent crimes were more sinned against than sinning, more offended against than offending.

Since Sparta, the slaveowners’ main fear were slave revolts; under Apartheid, Boers feared the swart gevaar and the Operation Valkyrie was originally designed by Hitler to deal with foreign slave workers during mass aerial bombings.

Whether Jim Crow "worked" or not doesn't really matter, since what it was meant to accomplish was evil.

"Worked". Even if you were white, you would be subject to watching gruesome torture and murder and expected to enjoy it.
