Understand that this all fake and suddenly it all makes sense. The only way to join “among the stars” is through God. They can’t do that, and their goal is to make sure that you don’t either.
If space and Nasa were real, we would be as advanced today as scifi movies from XX century predicted. But we’re not because it’s false science.

No, it really doesn’t. The conspiracy necessary to prop up a completely fictitious space program, with all the connected technology and advances, and follow-on applications, would be so freaking huge it woundn’t be a conspiracy’ as much as ‘the default, agreed-upon state.’
If space isn’t really, satellites aren’t, which requires buy in from everyone who makes a GPS, who makes phoes, who makes televisions, who install and align your satellite dish, who plan airline travel and navigation, military networks, and on and on and on. it’d be almost as big as the effort to prop up evolution.

…Why? It is real, and we still aren’t as advanced as Star Trek yet. I honestly don’t get this non-sequitor, what does that even mean? Does the OP think that should we get to the moon we’d be welcomed by hyper-advanced space aliens who’d uplift us to godhood? And since that (ridiculous) scenario didn’t happen it must mean that space is fake?

Well, almost. To REALLY be living in the future of the 50’s, we’d have to narrate the technology as we use it.
No one in 50’s scifi would just took out a phone and posted a text.
“I’ll submit this by wireless relay to a network in cluding orbiting geostationary satellites, instantly allowing comments and replies from people around the world that share the social network base I’m using. Most of the technology was predicted before 1960 by science fiction writers, becmoing a reality over several decades of advancements and as offshoots of the moon race.”
It took 90 years for television to go from the Nipkow disk to The Honeymooners . Technology is a slow crawl, and it should be; rushing into shit that can explode is a stupid idea, and nobody wants a Challenger disaster every week. In fact, Challenger is why we've moved away from manned missions and focused more on sending drones, because with a drone, if something goes horrifically wrong, then the only thing lost was money, and not human lives.
Besides, which sci-fi future? Terminator ? Planet of the Apes ? Star Trek ? Fallout ? Some unholy marriage of all of them?
Confused?
