When you get elected to congress, you automatically become an expert in economics, international relations (unused in the US), agriculture, medicine, engineering, infrastructure, military tactics, natural sciences, and human relations, even if you can’t count to three without outside help.

The engineered bioweapon conspiracy theory just gets even more absolutely retarded now that they’ve decided to tack on Fauci as the secret evil mastermind on the basis that he kept advising Trump to treat the virus like it actually exists. I mean, for this all to be a plot to embarrass one person is already a narcissistic delusion but it’s a conspiracy that absolutely required Trump to fuck up at every possible turn and pointedly ignore the supposed plants working against him. Because if the virus were stopped at any point before reaching North American shores, if travel restrictions motivated by anything other than overt racism were put in place and adhered to immediately as was advised to and ignored, if the curve had been flattened with stay-at-home orders and mask mandates, if even one right step had been taken or Trump simply sat on his hands instead of actively undermining state actions or even right down to individual city initiatives after passing the buck down the only thing tarnishing his name would be his incompetence and corruption in every other aspect of his time in office… and the previous financial disaster that was career… and the sexual assaults…
Some conspiracy, huh? It hinges on Trump alone making himself look bad. So what is the point of a virus then? A “harmless cold that will disappear when it warms up” and at the same time “a depopulation weapon” that had to spread through everyone else including the supposed creators before getting to the primary target. Again relying on incompetence at every possible step of the way.
What commies? There are no commies with any power in America. Also health care workers should be vaccinated period. I don't want my life in the hands of a doctor or nurse that doesn't care about their own health.
Oh and Fauci was is not responsible for this virus. It did not start in a lab.
I know you don't know what a real Commie is, Marj, use the term more loosely than my father did and he had the justification of being old school. However, I believe the health care system in Cuba is freer than yours.

If “Natural Immunity” was worth a damn, we wouldn’t have overcrowded hospitals.
There’s this common belief, though not usually coherently expressed: if you microdose on diseases, you’ll strengthen your immune system to the point where it can handle anything.
That’s not how it works. Your front-line fighter cells never get stronger no matter how many diseases you face; their effectiveness is based on genetics and your general health. Your special-ops cells have to spend awhile “training” (sort of, it’s complicated) before they can join in the fight, and once they do, they’re only effective against the specific pathogens they’ve trained for. Also, the actual fight is often long over by then, it’s mostly so that they can utterly wreck the next invasion before it can really get started. That’s what vaccines are for, so they can train in advance and join in the fight immediately.
Remember that which your previous president referred to as 'A Terrific Guy'? Well, that same Prime Minister of Britain - Bozo the Clown - wants to do the same. Question: Which party is he leader of?

That's the problem with the natural immunity. You have to catch Covid first. Even of the natural immunity is better you have to beat Covid unaided first. That's exactly why the vaccine is good. It helps in that initial fight.
And immunity stacks. So if you get the vaccine and then get Covid? Well you have more, and stronger antibodies.
That is why the "natural immunity" thing is bullshit.
