Just because you repeat that lie doesn’t mean that it is true. And the bodily autonomy of women doesn’t interfere with any other person and doesn’t cause rapid onset of pandemics that result in thousands of avoidable deaths. On the contrary, it often helps save the life of these same women. And YES, the vaccine DOES reduce the transmission of the virus, but more importantly, it helps stop severe infections which can cause lasting damage or death.

For those who don’t know the whole story behind this, the Red Sox are currently playing a series in Toronto against the Blue Jays. In the game in question, the Jays were down by one in the bottom of the 9th, and this is a situation where they would have brought Tanner Houck in to finish the game, as he’s the closer. But since he refused to get vaccinated, they had to leave him in Boston and so had to bring in another pitcher to close. They ended up losing, and a lot of Red Sox fans are blaming Houck for being selfish and making himself ineligible to play in these games.
