Why are you siding with the people who assaulted the lesbian woman?

In the short term, at least, pulling away from the trans community will only increase the violence against perceived trans people, and they’ll be wrong much more often than they’re right. More lesbians will get caught in the witch hunts. More gender-non-conforming cis people will get targeted. If you think that’s an acceptable amount of collateral damage for some long-term greater goal, I’m going to side-eye you real hard for that alone. (And that’s not even the worst part…)

Splitting apart is what your enemies want since it leaves you more vulnerable. Solidarity is strength.

Uh she was attacked by transphobes not trans people.

Don’t worry, once they will be done with transgender individuals, non-straight ones will be next.
