Webbon said that he “serve[s]” his wife by “giving commands” and having “authority” over his household. He explained that if “you have duty and responsibility, but without authority, what you have is slavery,” and that this “has been hoisted upon every young man in America, particularly young, white, Christian men”

“And here’s the thing about men,” Webbon said. “Eventually, they’re gonna be sick of it. Like, what — people think I’m extreme. What I’m trying to do is defuse a ticking time bomb. I promise, if you don’t listen to guys like Joel Webbon, give it fifteen years, maybe sooner, and you will be pleading”

Webbon predicted that, one day, media outlets will be “pleading” to bring him back, because he would be “reasonable” compared to “70 million men” who “have zero tolerance and zero patience and zero maturity”[…]
“Option A is guys like you, guys like me, doing a podcast trying to reach the next generation and talking,” he told Schaffer. “Talking is — talking and saying hard things, with just our words, that’s Option A. That is the moderate, humane, temperate option”

“Option B is you suppress our speech,” he continued. “You penalize us. No one gets to say anything. No direction is given, and no changes take place. And then one day, when you least expect it, millions of young, white men wake up and burn down the country because they’re angry, and they’re right to be angry”

Elijah Schaffer agreed with Webbon, and claimed that “almost anyone I talk to who’s young is just like, we’re gonna need blood, and we’re gonna have to kill these people,” and that this is what “they tell me behind closed doors.” Schaffer clarified that he wasn’t “calling for violence,” and that this attitude extended to the Left as well
