Fox News host Jesse Watters is facing backlash after laughing about American troops becoming "wild animals" around women if they are given testosterone injections

Watters made the comments during a discussion about the possible use of testosterone to help service members dealing with lower endurance and muscle loss

"He says you lose your endurance, muscle mass," Watters said. "So yeah, I want these guys on it, but you know what’s going to happen?"[…]
He then suggested that troops who did not need the treatment would also find a way to take it

"The guys that don’t need it are going to take it. It’s a triple boost, right?" Watters said

The Fox News host then warned women on military bases and in countries visited by US troops to "be careful"

"And then they’re going to get out there and women on base, you guys better be careful," Watters said

"Port calls, women in Asia, you better be careful because these guys are going to be wild animals, and you better watch out"

Watters appeared to laugh as he delivered the remarks, which critics said sounded like a joke about American service members possibly raping or sexually assaulting women

The clip quickly spread across social media, where users slammed Watters for treating the possibility of violence against women as a punchline

"So he's really going to laugh about possible rape in the military and overseas by servicemen," journalist Marty Golingan wrote on X. "There is no bottom for this shit stain"
