surviving suffering makes us better at surviving suffering. gives us character for suffering.
but aren’t we supposed to be preparing for paradise?
for example, i won’t need callouses in Heaven, right? no work, and no body to protect. no one around me will need or benefit from my callouses.

So it seems that some who are responsible for the prolongation of COVID-19 are admitting that it was not only out of ignorance but also out of malice. Killing a snake that you won't eat or when it's not out of necessity seems like unnecessary animal cruelty. Praying for suffering and promoting accelerationism? Likely in hope that some narcissistic opportunists cause even more chaos. I guess that death cult may be appropriate... If that's your God, other than the complete lack of evidence for its existence, this is even more reasons not to consider him worthy of worship, or even of respect. Or perhaps you're the madman and your followers should realize that. None of your actions or statements could ever result in any benefit to them, whatsoever, they're victims of some maniac. Even if prayer is ineffective and no God of love would ever want to receive it, it's part of your brainwashing propaganda. You are responsible for the hatred and chaos you are promoting.
