Oh, yay, I attracted the attention of a fundie! Great job taking what I said out of context and trying to spin it to mean something it obviously doesn’t. Don’t think I could have done it better myself—but the fact I’ve never really tried is one of the reasons I post and you get posted on FSTDT. I’m not going to defend myself or clarify my remarks there, because what I meant is clear when taken in context, and it clearly has none of the implications you’re pathetically trying to give it, which are still quite a stretch even without context.

I take this in strides. If the fundies take note of us and try to deride us with such pathetic spins we are both doing at least something right and they are more easily cornered than previously thought.

Hope you don’t take offense shy when I do a little thought experiment here: Let’s say this quote was actually meaning what you, OP, insinuate that it means, which it doesn’t (i.e. shy being pro-pedophilia and the like, let’s not beat around the bushes here, you fundies do that way too often to avoid having to apologize for your statements), then that would mean that one guy made an awful statement on a website. It tells you absolutely nothing about what the website itself or what the other commenters are about. A quick look would show you that we quote pedophilia apologists (which also tend to be fundies themselves, strange right?) quite often here as well and deride them as the assholes that they are.

But keep up the impotent ranting, lying and slandering. It’s kind of hilarious most of the time.

Hopefully, though I am not holding my breath in anticipation, some day society has become so much closer to gender equal and so much more sex-positive that nudity in and of itself isn’t seen as anything negative.

Where children are brought up to think that, yes, we should respect each other’s privacy, but if you accidentally see someone near-naked or naked, neither should feel ashamed.

Unwilling to grant pedophiles the right to have pre-teen lovers, even under the condition of ‘no actual harm ever.’
Could believe in God but the wrong God.
Or the right God but the wrong way.

I think the beef that the KiwiFarms folks have with me is calling them out for originating as an Internet campaign to obsessively and relentlessly bully and harass a transwoman with an intellectual disability, and as you can see from this quote, never straying very far from those roots. I also reckon my having the gall to call them out for it while existing as something other than cishet (in addition to most of the other things you listed) makes it sting a little harder to them. Oh, and this time, I’m gonna go ahead and preempt the people who feel inclined to chime in that this individual is partially responsible for her present situation: this has fuckall to do with whether anything else done to her is unacceptable. Are you victim-blaming or just stupid? Pick one, the other, or both, because those are the only possibilities.

This person should fly to Europe some time. He/she wouldn’t make it out of the airport terminal without having a heart attack due to the normal magazine covers at the first best newsstand. Then take a walk through any large city park in the summer. Or watch television for 10 minutes. He/she would faint.

I remember a discussion once about the “birds & bees” story for kids. One girl in attendance came from a farm and she said the last thing you have to explain to a kid who grew up on a farm or the countryside is the “birds & bees”.

Dear God, I knew they were still awful, but a part of me had forgotten just how much, I guess because I don’t reciprocate their desire to lurk around our site.

Also, @everyone: I apologize for the last part of my previous comment being too harsh. Ironically, another part of me had also forgotten that not everyone may be fully familiar with just how bad KiwiFarms is or the full extent of everything that has been done to the earlier mentioned individual. However, at the same time, they may be familiar with some of that individual’s own less than stellar behavior, since it was often used by her bullies to justify bullying her without acknowledging anything close to the extent of their bullying. I’ll just say that it’s really, really fucking bad—to the point I’m not giving her name out of respect—and leave it at that.

I don’t know where or under what conditions LockDown grew up, but _I_ spent significant parts of my childhood trying to see nudity. It’s natural, not degenerate.

I never showed any of my porn to my kids, but i also never locked the door when i was out of the house. If they looked for it, they would find it. But by then, they could get better stuff on the internet, anyway.
Nothing worth making life difficult for a mother.
