“If paperwork can make an American, paperwork can unmake an American”
Everyone needs to keep this in mind. If your great-grandparents came in through Ellis Island, then you can leave through Ellis Island. There is no amount of paperwork that will ever modify your blood or your DNA. Your body is a literal record of your alien nature
And now every government can easily test it
Just something to keep in mind when the civic nationalists are bleating that they are just as American as the sons and daughters of the American Revolution, if not more so
That’s not true, it has never been true, and we can scientifically prove it
It doesn’t necessarily need to come to that, but it should not be forgotten that it absolutely can, if necessary

He does actually claim to be a Native American (“Red Indian”, as he puts it). By contrast, the genetic test results of the sons and daughters of the American Revolution would simply read ‘a bunch of white people’ and be basically the same as most Europeans.
Blood and soil doesn’t work. The only people that could claim direct linage would live someplace in Africa and likely none are left at this point. Every other population group has moved at some point in their history, been part of a government that changed at some point in their history, had their ancestry mixed at some point.
It doesn’t really matter to Day though, it’s the threat that matters. His kind are attracted to the idea of threats to control the population. Something that creates a permanent underclass that is less of a citizen then Day is among the best sort.
There’s a very good reason why there’s a scene where the US Constitution is being saved from the oncoming Zombie Apocalypse in “World War Z”. What is done now to preserve the actual US Constitution today.
The fact you ran away - even though your side ‘won’ in late 2016 - to Italy then Switzerland means that your opinions will die before that preserved document written by the Founding Fathers ever will, VD.
At best your own blood tests would show you and tons of other euro immigrant families you detract just as european as “the sons and daughters of the revolution”, at worse, you’ll learn of all the black, native and asian mistresses your great grandpappy had in them days… Kinda funny that your purest anglo colonial bloodlines are considered a bad, inbred joke amongst most continentials here in europe so maybe stow away your pride you lil inbred, colonial hicks(no ill will towards yanks but made as a statement to these kind of puristic psychos).
Legally, the US government can’t denaturalize someone who was born in the US. If they did, they’d be stuck in an endless loop of deporting them from the US to the US, and that’s just annoying for everyone involved. Of course the current regime doesn’t really care about legalities and just sells people into slavery, but at least the courts have had some success shutting down that sort of thing.

Of course that’s true.
Want to end birthright citizenship? Pass a Constitutional amendment to change the 14th amendment. Yes, this will be hard. Passing the 14th amendment was hard, too. The paperwork that grants birthright citizenship can remove it, because that’s how laws work .
Want to strip existing people of birthright citizenship? That’s a different matter entirely.
- Down one path, you declare that they have been stripped of their citizenship and kicked out of the country without personally doing anything wrong .
- Down the other path, you declare that their presence in the country was always illegal .
Both options are banana republic shit, and ought to get you laughed off the immigration reform committee.

What a load of unscientific horseshit.
MY DNA includes Bengali. Very small trace. This is inexplicable from my well-documented family history (Mormon family),EXCEPT if it dates to the Roman occupation of Londinium and their habit of moving troops around to avoid revolts.
Which means it came to me through the ancestors who arrived on the Mayflower.
Which means your DNA Test shows me to be an American from 150 years before the American Revolution. So, yeah, more so.

You can certainly leave the US, in multiple ways. If you gain citizenship in another country, you absolutely can decide you’re not gonna be a US citizen anymore. You probably gotta go through some paperwork, and jump through some hoops, but it’s possible. I think I could technically do that now, if I really wanted to. Since Canada recently changed their citizenship laws to make direct descendants of people born in Canada citizens, and my mom’s mom was born there. I’d basically just have to prove to Canada that my grandma was born there, and bingo, I’m a dual citizen.
Confused?
