A lot of us voted for Trump because the alternative (Harris) was far worse. We didn't vote for him expecting him to be a great president, but the way the Dems chose their candidate and the candidate they chose left us with very little choice but to vote for the better of 2 bad candidates. I still believe things would be worse if Harris was elected.

But how? Seriously how much worse could Harris be compared to all the crap we’ve seen of Trump? its’ pretty obvious just like last time, Trump was the far worse option no matter how much people like you desperately try and tell us all otherwise, which a growining number of Americans flatout don’t agree with you whatsoever.
How? You idiots keep saying “Harris was far worse”, but in what way !? What could Harris POSSIBLY have done that is worse than what Trump is doing right now!? Hell, what impression did Harris EVER give back in the day that she would turn the USA into a police state, screw up the economy, and start new wars!?
“A lot of us voted for Trump because the alternative (Harris) was far worse.”
What, you saw signs of EARLIER onset of dementia? Where?
She was MORE corrupt? In what way?
She’d have torn down the ENTIRE White House?
How many airports would she try to name after herself, you think?
How many son in laws did she have to appoint as government officials for the grift?
You’re deluding yourself, about her, about him, about your motives.
Actually, this really reminds me of an observation by a historian. Not all of the people who put Hitler in power were behind his Nazi agenda. The were bitter about the previous war, they wanted the inflation to stop, they were upset about their international standing, they thought he’d make the trains run on time. Any number of reasons to put Adolph in charge.
So, not Nazis. But they either put the Nazis in power or they just watched the Nazis take power. Today? Historians refer to these enablers as: Nazis.
No one really cares WHY you voted for Trump. It’s enough that you did. You’re complicit with the grift, the embezzlement, the pardoning of drug dealers, the protection of pedophiles, the suicide of victims, the murder of Epstein, Noem’s jet, ICE abuses, the pardons for sale, the destruction of the White House, the building of the Throne Room, the voter fraud, the voter suppression, the voter intimidation, and the millions stolen by Musk.

That reminds me of a recent argument I saw of how some MAGAs are shocked at how they are “treated” by everyone else (both domestic and abroad) even when they say they (supposedly) regret their decision and renounced it; it does not matter why they did it, they still screwed over the entire world beyond repair by not caring enough what the consequences of their selfish, short-sighted actions were.
A good metaphor I heard about then was a blank sheet of flat paper representing the USA. MAGA voters crumbled it up into a ball with their choices. Even if they’re going to work VERY HARD to make that sheet of paper flat again, it’ll always remain somewhat crumpled. It can never be fully restored. And that is why nobody is willing to forgive them.
I can understand this argument against Hillary. At that point it was two historically unpopular candidates with various scandals, picking Trump as possibly the lesser of two evils was a mistake but not entirely unreasonable. 8 years later Harris was a successful attorney general and Senator with no standing problems. Trump was a known criminal who had shown he was incompetent at running the government, had a sex scandal that had just been growing for 8 years, had a huge election scandal involving Russia that had been killed by his own AG and was dogged by additional legal issues. At that point even if you didn’t like Harris’s politics voting for her because it was better for the country was obvious.

And female.
That just reminds me of the clipping from a 1963 newspaper which I’ve seen a few times on Facebook and Reddit, where they were asking people “would a woman be a good president?”

I agree with Vern Hause from Stevens Point, WI’s response: “She couldn’t do any worse than some we’ve had.” Amen, Vern, amen.
Confused?
