If you are no longer a Christian, it is because you were never a Christian in the first place.

You know, this is exactly what the transgender movement says. It’s NOT that you’re changing from a woman to a man, it’s that you were never a man in the first place.
So, you know, cool. Common ground.
"God has hardwired humans to innately know He exists, and given us a conscience to know we have sinned against our Maker."
That is Todd's own words. If that were true wouldn't we all be Christian?
It's true, for me. Although I was raised in a cult and my parents wanted me to be, it was forced on me and not my initial state of mind (nobody can be Christian from birth, it's not natural but acquired). I still am mostly Christian by tradition because I was raised as one, but in a cult that's quite different than the Catholicism of my extended family. I'm not officialy in any religion, as I've not been baptised or confirmed. I studied the great religions, some of the Biblical theology and have practiced a few modern and custom forms of magic. I think that today I'm mostly an atheist... And with the stupidity I see and hear, I am unlikely to fall back. If I had not been raised in the Jehovah's Witnesses, but as a Catholic, like the rest of my family, perhaps that I'd still be a moderate Catholic today. Excesses, hypocrisy and seeing others being treated unethically raised doubts. I was a curious person needing to understand things beyond the stupid ready made answers that were provided by religion. Today I understand that it's human tradition.

It reminds me of a verse about angels to eventually become incorruptible. I always viewed this as becoming spiritual machines, who'd serve their ultimate and only purpose, singing praises to Yahweh, with the inability to put things in perspective. :)
Edit/Adding: Forever, and ever, and ever...
Confused?
