The Bible is the right starting point for our thinking about the past.
The Bible not only claims to be a revelation from the infinite Creator but it gives a very detailed history concerning origins, to enable us to come to right conclusions.
No other book does this.

Perhaps, it’s the most detailed thing YOU have ever read, but six single-page myths, one of which consisting mostly of repetitive ritual turns-of-phrase, and a few ancestry lists that are nothing but name, date of birth and date of death are far from rich in information, nor in any way exceptional among mythologies.
Look, Ham, I like a good mythical creation story as much as the next fantasy geek. Wether it’s Odin killing Ymir in Ginnungagap and carving Midgard out of its corpse, or Khaos birthing the Protogenoi through parthenogenesis, or Eru Illuvatar singing Arda into existence alongside the Valar, or Lorkhan tricking the Aedra into putting their own essence into Mundus, or Arceus hatching from a Cosmic Egg… I see them all as fascinating and entertaining. But at least I am sane enough to recognize those as equal forms of FICTION, no matter how compelling or detailed as they may be.
According to your BuyBull, the universe is just 6,000 years old.
As Thorium has a half life of 4.5 billion years: the same age as Earth, we can come to the more than right conclusion that you’re more than wrong , Hambone.
…and your little nonexistent ‘God’ you rode in on too.
A false claim about oneself is still a false claim and can be evaluated to be fallacious by being circular. The reason Ham cannot tolerate critical thinking and reason. Mythology is not history but then again, those who benefit from the confusion and manipulation of others cannot tolerate facts.
A large body of interesting knowledge is rejected in favor of simplified partial and confused world views. Including the knowledge about the development of those scriptures and traditions. Those who seek knowledge are rarely satisfied with the world denial answers provided by cults. Especially when they also notice the hypocritical extreme relativity of selection and interpretation by those who claim to have absolute truth. And when that is also intended to blind to actual knowledge, like about our origins. Some people are literally stuck hundreds of years behind in terms of humanity's knowledge attainment.
The conclusions you are referring to, is called jumping to hasty conclusions.
Confused?
