You are blaming the exection of Christ on the Romans, when in fact the Jews plotted to kill Christ and brought him before the Roman governor, Pilate. See Matthew 26: 3-5, which includes the passage “Jesus’ enemies, the chief priests and the elders, met in secret in the house of Caiaphas, the high priest, to make plans to kill Jesus.”

Also Pilate left the decision to execute Christ up to the Jewish mob, who were inspired by the Jewish Sanhendrin to condemn him. See, e.g. Mark 15: 1-15.

Please revise your post to report that it was the Jews and not the Romans who were responsible for Christ's crucifixion.

Clearly ALL present day Jews are not to blame for the crimes of the Apartheid Jewish state, but those with dual U.S. Israeli citizenship and those who send money back to Israel and those who lobby the U.S. congress in support of Israel share in the negative karma Israel incurs by its mistreatment of the Palestinians.

Pontius Pilatus’ portrayal in the Bible stands in marked contrast to the brutality and underhanded repression with whom he is characterised in Roman and Jewish sources of the time. In addition, these costums are not attested anywhere else. The Pilatus interlude is with extreme certainty a fictional event (even compared to the rest of the legend of Jesus) that was inserted to attack the religious establishment and mainstream and to appeal to prospective Roman converts.

He had to die in order to save us. It's literally the central premise of your religion!

NOBODY living today is responsible for a crime, or a judicial murder, which happened 2000 years ago. Like there might be some people in Italy today descended from the soldiers who did the crucifixion, not their fault. You are just using it as an excuse to hate on the Jews.

Reminds me of something Golda Meir wrote in her autobiography about when she was a kid in Russia hiding out with her family from a pogrom. They were chanting about them killing Jesus and the little girl said, "I didn't kill anyone."

Also, Jesus was considered a rabble-rouser against the Roman state and, simply by existing, encouraged an independent Jewish people, rather than the client state they had been at the time. He may have preached that what belonged to Caesar be rendered unto Caesar, but the rest of his message of peace and love and a lot of other radical, foreign concepts into the Judaic culture space was seen as extreme and radical at the time, and more than one insurrectionist or rebel would naturally have flocked to someone who bucked so deeply ingrained a system. And although that would have appealed to a great many of the young and radicals of the time, the elders would have been old enough and learned enough to know that Rome did not suffer radicals, and had a rather heavy-handed approach to them - collective annihilation. The Romans did not wait for rebellions, they murdered them in the crib at the slightest rumour of disquiet, and had few compunctions about killing women, children, and the elderly to send a message. The Sanhedrin were well within reason to fear that Jesus’ reputation as King of the Jews would upset Rome and bring death squads into their ghetto. They didn't hand him over to Pilate because “grrrr! arrrrgh! Jews evil!”, but because he was seen as a legitimate existential threat to them. Better for one Jew to die, than all of them.

So let's consider the fact that this is old literature of uncertain historicity. The actual, current problem remains your attempts to demonize Jews by interpreting it the way that allows you to justify it. Your intent dictates the interpretation of something that should not have much relevance today anyway.
