Teaching people to hate America fundamentally destroys patriotism and the desire to defend our country.
Such teachings should be viewed as treason and those who do it imprisoned.

I agree for once, Muskrat. So teaching people that the USA was NOT founded on “liberty and equality for all”, opressing minorities, taking away free speech, and trying to turn a democratic republic into a authoritarian monarchy by force should be viewed as treason!
So when are you going to turn yourself in?
"Teaching people to hate America fundamentally destroys patriotism”
Not true.
But teaching people to love America by ignoring problems DOES destroy patriotism. They’re loyal to the idea, not the actual nation.
“and the desire to defend our country.”
Pointing out the mistakes you are making, and the laws Trump is breaking, IS defending the country, you twit.
“Such teachings should be viewed as treason”
At the time they wrote the Constitution, ‘treason’ was whatever the King said it was. That’s why the crime is defined in the Constitution. You should read it some time. And no, hating America is not treason. Hating things about America is not treason. Hating Americans is not treason.
“and those who do it imprisoned.”
I think you could maybe be a little bit more wrong, but you’d have to actually quote Hitler.
He’s replying to a tweet that said “In 2022, 45% of high schoolers polled say they were taught that "America is built on stolen land" in class at school, and another 22% heard it from an adult there.”
Uh….how’s that wrong, though? Also, I really don’t see how acknowledging that is “hating America” either…
Well, considering the throwing of a Nazi sign around this time last year we can start with you, Elongated Muskrat.
Around eighty or so years ago, who was it who said ‘The only good Nazi is a dead Nazi’?
Americans.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
