Here’s a secret: I never thought TERFs are particularly right-wing, or that they agree with the right in most things. Most of you are generally liberal or leftist, next to none of you seem religiously fundamentalist or even religious at all.

We can see your views just fine.

But guess what? Your non-trans-related views are not why you keep being submitted here.
They don’t matter anyway. Most of you would either be willing to give up anything if only it would eliminate the “trans threat”, or will soon enough reach the level of radicalization when you will be ready to.
TERFdom / gender-crittery is like a black hole that sucks in everything else you are, all the other things you may have been interested in, and leaves behind a rabid, obsessed husk whose entire life is increasingly devoted solely to screeching at the transes and trying to get other people to do the trans eradication work for you, while you sit back and laugh.

Are you really like that? Because I don’t believe you, considering you refer to it as identity politics and act like it’s separate from economic issues. And you know, it’s definitely still possible to be working class and a bigot, and it’s still possible to be wealthy and experience bigotry. And bringing up the wealth thing just makes you sound like the homophobes who say that all LGBT people are wealthy white men.

Here’s some valuable advice I learned from Rick & Morty, people. It does not matter if you’re right or wrong in your beliefs. If you choose to be an asshole about those beliefs, NOBODY wants to give you the satisfaction of being right.

I get your meaning. It's how I discuss politics with friends and family. Some of them are much further right than I am, but we all agree to disagree, and promise to act like adults.

(My most severely Republican friend hates Trump so much that I never bring him up for fear she'll agitate herself into a heart attack.)
