So as I understand it, sexual offenders who were trans women (born as men) had fewer paraphilias than other types, meaning that they appear to be better adjusted than trans men and cisgenders.
I'm not surprised that testosterone levels directly affect the sex drive, just consider teenage boys versus older men. The fact that trans women saw their sex drive decrease on estrogen puts a big hole in the idea that they have the same urge to rape women as cis men do.
I question whether transvestitism is an actual paraphilia in trans people, who simply want to dress as their true gender and not to get a sexual thrill. In a sense, trans folk have been cross-dressing their whole lives before they came out as trans.
