EVERY bill that has to do with medicine usage, surgeries being performed or indeed any kind of real life enforcement or prohibition HAS to be approved by a gremium of actual doctors in the related specializations and fields.

Call me a pessimist, but I suspect, that would just result in politicians of all persuasions trying to stack that council with doctors willing to rubberstamp whatever the politician in question wants (and if you look hard enough and give enough incentives, you can probably find some doctor willing to sign off anything).

This argument is missing the point though. Feminists aren't arguing that it's important to correctly sex people when they're placing an order in a coffee shop or checking out at the grocery store. Most daily activities are gender neutral. We only care in situations where genitals are important, such as locker rooms that allow for full nudity. You don't need to go out of your way to "check people genitals" when Lia Thomas is walking around sans towel, shoving his dick in your face. It's so absurd how TRAs try to paint us as "genital inspectors", we don't want to see people's genitals, that's the entire point! If trans people all passed easily and changed discretely, then no one would know they're there and this wouldn't have become an issue. The problem is the high number of AGP sex predators who keep their male anatomy and get off on violating women.

i agree. i'm very rarely thinking much about the genitals of people i know or interact with in real life. sure, i will notice a non-passing TIP, but it's not usually more than a passing thought. i'm sure i've interacted with people without realizing they are trans too. again, i'm not always on alert for people's sex.
women shouldn't have to delve into matters of "how to police" "female-only spaces" to ensure only females are present. and like you said, no one here wants to be a genital inspector. as you point out, the TIMs who don't respect female-only spaces tend to make themselves known. ideally, TIPs would always respect sex-segregated spaces, just as we don't barge into places/functions specifically intended for trans people and declare "i'm here and i'm cis..cater to me!."

Yeah, I mean in an ideal world I'd prefer not to share intimate spaces even with stealthy TIMs, but we'd never have gone up in arms about this if we didn't know. I know older boomer TIFs who have been using men's rooms undetected for decades already. It's this recent wave of AGP fetishists with their beard stubble and fishnets ringing everyone's alarm bells. Not only are they not our sex, they weren't even gender non-conforming to begin with. I don't see how it's a "human right" for them to live out their fetish of making women and girls uncomfortable. We don't legally force non consenting people to participate in BDSM, this isn't any different.

Many people would see that as a drastic move but I agree it would be a good way of tackling it. Even if a child misses out on a year of schooling she can make it up later. If she continues down this path she will ruin the rest of her life and have possibly 60 or 70 years of regret. I would much prefer to sacrifice one year of her formal education to instead pack in a year of personal growth, critical thinking skills, problem solving, and learning useful physical skills that aren't taught at school. If money is tight then just that year away from technology and doing practical stuff instead of travelling would be enough for her to grow her own identity as a confident girl rather than following the herd into a harmful ideology. It doesn't matter if she's a year older than others in her class when she graduates.

OP, I don't think you need to be violent or dramatic about it, but I do agree with WatcherattheGates that it is vital to limit her internet access as much as humanly possible, ideally keeping her off the internet entirely. Her phone doesn't need to smashed in front of her, but it should be somewhere she can never, ever get to. Social media, pornography, and general doomscrolling are all literally addictive and literally changing her brain.
I wouldn't tell a parent whose kid was doing heroin to keep giving the kid money. I honestly think allowing unfettered internet access to a teen who is falling for the gender cult is comparable and could have equally devastating consequences. I found this post pretty interesting, particularly the daughter's change in behavior and how much it resembled behavior that's common for addicts.

The stereotype about hockey players is not that they are sensitive, progressive sorts.

Oh yea, TRA's and MRA's are definitely part of the same internet mano-sphere culture. Then she decided to get the shots so she could enjoy life, travel, go to places that unvaxed couldn't go to. I am dreading to hear her cancer has come back, but this seems to be the trend with the vaxxed. I hope she got the saline. She is only 45. What can you do but warn them? "pro-lifers" really don't get the concept of bodily autonomy, do they? Anti-abortion laws go against this concept, because they limit the bodily autonomy of the pregnant person to end an unwanted pregnancy. Circumcision goes against it, because doing so on an unconsenting person (which an infant obviously is) would be breaking their bodily autonomy.
