That's the real reason for every decision humans make. Whether we choose because of religious faith or family obligation or financial constraints or whatever, we do what we want according to our personal criteria.
In other words, we choose the option that is either the most rewarding or the least painful. Stewart's just mad that his personal criteria isn't the deal-breaker for everyone else.
