Several months ago, looking around for a HD to use as a large scale (multiple TB) portable backup device, whilst considering hard drives that are over 2TB I noticed they - being multiple-plattered ones - were thicker than those. But I held off buying one. Especially as the 2.5 inch SATA SSDs larger than 2TB were fairly expensive: especially the Samsung 870 QVO 8TB at £600. But looking around 24 hours ago, something changed my mind on Amazon: the same SSD for £480. Thus I ordered it. My delaying my decision saved me money and I have my larger scale (compared to HDs) portable backup device and is as thin as other SSDs of that type but with less capacity. And will fit in the external drive case I have ready for it when it’s delivered on Wednesday. I will have in my hands what I need.

Speaking as a Yorkshireman - and the stereotype of we being careful with our cash - I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this, Renal Isee.

In my decision to refuse to give you $13 of my hard-earned it’s more than just your MP3s that won’t be going on that 8TB SSD, OP.
