This means that in the abusive regimes that you promote, they also persecute people against whom mere rumors are promoted, because allegations about their private lives are apparently enough for them to be abused. Victim blaming doesn't really determine what their orientation is. Then assuming that they really are gay and are harming nobody, i.e. are having consensual adult relationships, why is it the regime's business anyway? There are no harmed victims to protect, except those the regime abuses. This is evidence of an oppressive regime, unworthy of power. No, but the constitutional separation of church and state means that history and biology courses are not religious courses and tax paid schools are not supposed to be confessional, although that's often gamed. It's fine to have courses on the great religions that document their origin and main tenets. It's not okay for education to be indoctrinatory sermons, there's church for that. Violating that would not only offend those of other faiths but even other Christians: they don't all reject the facts discovered by science in favor of creationism, for instance. They don't share the same doctrines and prayers. It's not because you're ignorant or blind about the overwhelming evidence for evolution that the blind should lead the blind.

Well, atheists may be wiser than you think, as well as the religious who accept the overwhelming evidence for evolution.

False equivalence. You can meet the cook, you can't meet the imaginary deity. You can taste the cook's food, you can't call for divine manna or for magic honey tasting scrolls to manifest and taste them. You know that a prepared food has a history of preparation, was made by someone, was a recipe imagined by a human, etc. More equivalent would be the fact that both plants and animals (including humans) reproduce, they can serve as ingredients in the recipe. Your parents are still humans, though.

In the case of life, we know some of the history, for instance that it diversified and evolved through natural processes like descent with modification and natural selection, but we still can't see evidence of directed creation or of design, of the type humans imagined in their mythology that also includes deities humans imagined. Instead we see a lot of evidence of adaptation resulting in the animals today including us, that includes suboptimal features due to adaptation, but also well fitted features to reproduce and survive and in some areas built-up complexity that are all best explained by evolution.

So your statement sounds like ignorant arrogance and the promotion of obscurantism. Besides, since the evidence of evolution is really overwhelming, many educated and religious have no problem with the facts of nature. Religious doctrines have long been resisting every discovery showing humans to not be the center of the universe. When it's obvious that we're not, due to incredible evidence showing otherwise, large mainstream religions that remained relevant tend to accept facts of nature, including evolution, like Catholicism today.

When you're part of a group that wants you to reject well established knowledge, it may also be an indication that it wants to isolate you from the world and control and exploit you. That may also be evidence of dishonesty and perhaps even malice, meaning that assuming that a deity really existed, it may not agree with the doctrine either. Why would it create a world that we can discover interesting facts about, but torment you for accepting those facts instead of what some ancient ignorant humans wrote and what intellectually dishonest propagandists preach? There's no need to fear knowledge, it can actually in many cases free you from the grip of deceptors.

Even if you cite religious demographics, it still doesn't mean that all of them are homophobic bigots, it also means that part of them are gay even among those who hide it. While people with same sex attraction are among them, so are pedophiles, although they're not mutually inclusive. If it's a patriarchy, it actually means predator havens, women subjugation, victim blaming... meaning more rape, pedophilia, unwanted pregnancies and secret abortions (or even infanticide) than in cultures with more advanced rights.

Since people do not decide their orientation, many Muslims are gay just like in any other group. Many who have the opportunity live in countries where they face less persecution. If you really believe that gay people don't exist around you, you're just blind, like me when I was young and raised in a cult. As part of the doctrine was the disdain of homosexuality but as a hetero in a culture where gays hid their orientation, they seemed to be like a legend to me.

Afterall, the Jehovah's Witnesses are also superstitious and believe in a lot of nonsense, why would this be different? But I learned that they really exist and often it took years for me to learn that some people I knew for a long time are. Their personal life is not my business and it doesn't change anything.

2) Gun worshipping fear mongering, it would not be a crime to address the issue, look at the awful statistics of the US compared to other countries. The Constitutional arms clause is clearly about the army and the police, not the general population and extremist mobs.
3) My rights are not violated either if you ask me to remove my shoes to walk on your carpet. There was an obvious issue with the shirt, bullying is not conductive to a peaceful learning environment. Some schools also have uniforms. Schools have a number of other rules, it's not a lawless environment. It's interesting how those claiming to be tough against alleged lawlessness are also the ones who want to violate rules they find inconvenient.

This includes non-reproductive sex for all (humans masturbate like other animals and have recreative and relationship bonding sex like other social animals) and various gender orientations for some. Who actually caused SARS-CoV-2 to be a disaster in the US? Who promoted disinformation and denial (of gravity, of distancing measures, of vaccine safety and efficacy)? It was mostly domestic and had nothing to do with communism, of course. Well, there also were foreign hybrid disinformation attacks, ironically pro-Trump. That was an information war, not COVID-infected people swarming into the country. Once initially seeded by normal business activity, the virus of a natural origin was spread by your own communities. The data is all available.

When where the borders unimportant? Open borders and xenophobic panic is always the disinformation of those who want mass domestic persecution, deportations and crimes against humanity. It's even more clear five years later.
