I’m no philosophy expert, I’m not even sure how much of a Platonist I am or not, but this sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. “abstract objects”? Isn’t that kind of an oxymoron? Like, sure, “abuse” or even numbers don’t physically exist as objects themselves, but they’re concepts. People might disagree on just what abuse consists of, or I guess what to call numbers, but those concepts definitely exist.

I see people I know, people I do not know, whose kids aren’t taking drugs harmful to their longterm health.

How do you know the kids of those people who you don’t know aren’t taking drugs? They might not be the ones you’re talking about (hormone therapy, I assume), but you don’t know, maybe the teenage son of your next-door neighbor smokes crack or something. Whatever the kids are doing these days. To me, that sounds a lot more “harmful to their longterm health” than hormone therapy.

How many women are pregnant at 30+? How many 13 year olds die in childbirth?

The stat above could still be true if 5 teens die, but that’s 60% of teen pregnancies, and 25 30+ women, representing 6% of that group’s pregnancies.
Without those numbers this is just fear mongering.
