As someone IN an interracial marriage, I looked at some of the arguments made to fight interracial marriages back in the day.
Pick any current segregation argument, most of their bullshit came up in the 60s. God made blacks and whites different FOR A REASON, they argued, and thus allowing interracial marriage was SPITTING IN GOD’S FACE! Also, some said that such a marriage could not produce children, a claim that flies in the face of pretty much all of the nation’s history.

Also, the OT kind of considers Jews a religion, a nationality, and a race, so there are strictures in scripture that get used in this argument. I believe most of the argument was that God didn’t want good Hebrew men taking wives who would not practice Kosher in the Kitchen, but plenty of people have thrown such verses at me to say my marriage is wrong.

Well, I don’t know…I’m myself about as Anti-Trump as anyone, but the weather where I am has fuckin’ SUCKED lately! Been hot and humid as fuck, and of course then there was the brief but powerful storm Friday that knocked power out for a lot of people. Still waiting for mine to come back, at that. (I’ll just say I’m now very glad that I live with my parents and they have a generator, ya know?)

It’s almost like…in summer, the weather is hot, and there’s storms. Who knew???
