They’re sometimes surprisingly good at interpreting his quatrains to events that have already happened. Like people writing in the 19th or 20th century can make a halfway decent case for Nostradamus predicting the French Revolution or something. When it gets kinda silly is when they try to say what he predicted for things that didn’t happen yet. There was a guy who wrote a book about Nostradamus in the early 1940s that said he predicted all sorts of weird stuff would happen in WWII, and he was just way off, to the point where some of the things he said were already proved wrong by the time the book came out!
