The protesters aren't Antifa, as far as I know. The people looting and setting things on fire seem to be a different group than the protesters. I've yet to see the police actually working to take those people down (If they weren't already undercover cops look to provoke the groups of people). Even if they did set fires or loot, they still have the right to a lawyer and bail.

Monarchies are still around out of inertia and because the government grew up around them. It doesn't have anything to do with Christianity or the natural order of things. Seeing the monarch as a dear relative or friend is weird. It's not like you actually met them in real life and stroke up a friendship or anything.

And most of huamn history had us as hunter gatherer groups. We also had super high infant mortality and people dying of diseases that are now curable. That's the evidence for us bring so advanced.
