I think you’re letting your ideas of the Left being weak pussies deluding yourself. Plenty of Left-leaning folks do have firearms and know how to use them, granted only a small number of them do but still. And even then plenty of them will fight if they feel the need to do so, especially if its’ a bunch of wannabee fascists trying to steal a legitimate election, regardless of how much Trump bitch and moans about it and lies about ti being “stolen” from him. Besides that, the military would arrest Trump the second he tried to do this shit in the first place so your desire for a fascist dictatorship is for not.
Then again, this view of the left fits with the White Fascist’s need for a paradoxically weak-strong enemy, they need to be terrifying to justify their harsh rule but at the same time weak enough that their soldiers can defeat them single handle. Only for reality to come and bitch slap them hard.
But seriously, this is becoming concerning that so many Far-Right Americans are now calling for an outright Coup and or dictatorship, I hope this is all just hot air but there’s still a chance that this could be the preload for something far worse, like an American version of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, and that’s at best, and at worse… a flat out second civil war.
