I don't know. Yes, we all have our cross to bear, but the struggle to keep "faithful eyes" at least involves God's master plan for men to desire women. The man-woman bond is part of God's beautiful plan and God wants us to find pleasure in the other sex (within marriage of course).

Homosexuals, on the other hand, are a deviation of the natural order. There is nothing in God's plan that allows for one man to find another man attractive. Honestly, I don't see how women find men attractive, but I guess God made it come to be like this, because that's His plan.

By being so different from the natural order, and from what scripture tells us, it's not unreasonable to believe that homosexuality is influenced by demonic forces or possibly a result of the rejection of God. Most atheists are homosexuals, and when you reject Jesus, it seems like that would open one up to Satanic influence.

None of my daughters or their husbands asked the state of Tennessee for permission to marry. They did not yoke themselves to government. It was a personal, private covenant, binding them together forever—until death. So when the sodomites have come to share in the state marriage licenses, which will eventually be the law, James and Shoshanna will not be in league with those perverts. My friend who goes to a "new thought" church which has become full of gays..the president of the church board is a lesbian, the music director is gay etc...were talking about this subject last night. I went to that church for about 15 years and had to leave. I started reading my BIBLE again. The church is UNITY. New Thought. They claim to be a christian church but you can't find a cross or a bible in the place. You can find plenty of buddah statues and books on eastern religions though. I finally had to just cut my ties with the place. The bible clearly says homosexuality is an ABOMINATION...both old and new testaments. How do you get around that? She said homosexuals weren't hurting anyone. I mentioned aids...it IS a homosexual disease...it's to do with BLOOD and we all know how they pass that around. I told her that the Holy Bible is a survival manual...there is a reason G-d made those covenants. Jazzz.

Rowenn: Obviously you haven't read the Bible or you wouldn't make such an ignorant statement. God has made His views on homosexuality very clear throughout the Bible. Here is just one verse:

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

The Word is clear. Unrepentant (practicing) homosexuals who die in their sin, GO TO HELL. They can go to church, they can call themselves a Christian...but if they are practicing homosexuals when they die--they will spend eternity in Hell.

This passage lists a number of sins that offer the same consequences for unrepentance. An unrepentant thief goes straight to hell as well.

BUT, no other sin listed in that passage has a number of followers out to forcibly legalize their sin-calling sin a civil right.

When Jesus stopped the stoning of the adulteress, He told her to, "Go and sin no more." Repentance doesn't mean perfection, or a lack of struggle...The sin must stop! If a gay or lesbian isn't even attempting to stop the sin-They will burn: end of story.

Bottom line, Rowenn: Unrepentant gays and lesbians are gonna burn. This is not a translation issue--its the Word of God.

I think it's time I clarify some things.

First, Homosexuality is a sin. Just like adultery is a sin. Just like lying is a sin.

Second, we are all hardwired from birth to sin. The heart of man is inately evil. Sin is first-nature to all humans.

Third, just because I'm born a liar doesn't mean I (habitually) lie. I was born a thief, but I don't (habitually) steal. Likewise, I was born a homosexual, but I don't engage in homosexual relations.

Fourth, nowhere does God condemn homosexuality. He condemns those who practice sodomy. Nowhere does god condemn liars, but he condemns those who lie.

Fifth, what's the difference? Not much. If you lie, that makes you a liar. If you steal, that makes you a thief. If you practice sodomy, that makes you a sodomite.

As a sum up: Stealing is a sin. We're all born in sin. Therefore, we're all thieves. Sodomy is a sin. We're all born to sin. Therefore, we're all born sodomites.

The true difference is if one acts on their orientation. I've known many gay men and lesbians who have turned from their lifestyles and avoid the temptation to act on their urges.

We're not saying that homosexuals are evil, any more than all the rest of us are evil. But sodomy is a sin. We've been instructed by Christ to rebuke sinners, but not to judge them.

Two of my friends are bisexual. One is practicing, one is not. Which one is the sinner? All three of us.

I do not believe in the concept of "sin" and "God", but I strongly believe that homosexuality is against the laws of nature, and against societal norms...and is therefor immoral according to the dictionary definition of the word immoral.

The thing that erks me the most is that homosexuals will give the "it's genetic" argument, when in fact there is no hard proof that DNA is responsible for homosexual behavior. You know you're gay when you're little? Please. Your endocrine system isn't even developed at the times some people claim to have known when they were gay. It is a psychological abnormality stemmed from one of two things (or both):

1. Sexual abuse of the child in question, or abuse of the parent of the same sex by the parent/partner of the opposite sex, giving subconcious negative feelings toward the opposite sex...and/or...

2. A purely lust-filled narcissistic obsession with one's own gender role and appearance.


It also makes no sense to parade around for "rights". This is America. They are in possession of all rights other people have by birth in this country. They don't want rights. They want special treatment.

My third child (Alex), is 14 years old and lately I have begun to notice that his actions seem to be immoral. What im trying to say, is that me and my husband think our son is gay. Our belief that he is gay stems from something that happened two days ago. When our son was coming out of the bathroom from going number two, I noticed that he had an erection. I asked him why he had an erection (he knows what it is) and he said "i dont know, it always happens when I poop". My personal life has become more stressfull lately. Gays are a primary reason for it. I don't have health insurance because of Gays. I don't want to wrestle with homosexuals. (yuck) Homosexuality doesn't mean anything. It's an abstract concept that serves mainly to re-inforce the sordid desires that people already hold. Gays pick and choose parts from the constitution or Tradition or their current favorite Gay activist spokesman and claim that it is True tolerance. The hypocrisy of picking whatever you want to believe from the many different sources and calling it "lifestyle chioce" is what I'm wrestling with. I'm not wrestling with homosexuality, (yuck) I'm wrestling with the humans that call what they believe "Love". The difference is important.

A Cypress man charged in the death of a Southwest Airlines flight attendant said Saturday that he was doing God's work when he went to a Montrose-area bar last month, hunting for a gay man to kill.

"I believe I'm Elijah, called by God to be a prophet," said 26-year-old Terry Mark Mangum, charged with murder June 11. " ... I believe with all my heart that I was doing the right thing."

Interviewed in the Brazoria County Jail Saturday morning, Mangum said he feels no remorse for killing 46-year-old Kenneth Cummings Jr., whom relatives described as a "loving" son who never forgot a holiday and a devoted uncle who had set up college funds for his niece and nephew. He worked at Southwest for 24 years.

The growing number of homosexuals is due to their practice of no longer staying in the closet. When they keep their lifestyle choices private, it is between them and God. God will choose when and if He will place conviction upon their heart.

However, when they make their choices public, the Bible tells us that it then is no longer between the sinner and God. Homosexuality is contagious. Of course, I realize that statement may sound insane to some and homosexual activists will make fun of it. A person does not "catch" homosexuality as they would the common flu bug. But homosexuality is a mental depravity that has severe consequences for society and its social acceptance IS contagious. It is increasingly viewed by even children as a legitimate form of a romantic relationship that should receive God's blessing.
