They seek to normalize all things homosexual, but they are they willingly use “teabagging” as a pejorative. They also LOVE to vilify any Republican who gets caught in a homosexual act (see Craig, Foley, et al). They very quickly use the fact that the Republican showed homosexual tendencies as a slight.

...books and magazines extolling gay behavior are easy to buy or find at the library, whereas before, they weren't?

...the more extreme and bizarre fringe of the gay culture is now more acceptable or at least not as shocking to people?

....that many once conservative churches (not to mention the liberal ones) accept homosexual couples as members, and more churches are ordaining them as ministers?

I agree completely. We should not be worrying about our hard-earned money going to pay for abortions. Abortion should be completely illegal. Every chid is a gift from God, and every child deserves a chance at life. We also should not have to be worrying about our hard-earned money going to pay for health benefits and health care for homosexuals. Homosexuality is a depraved, disgusting, unhealthy lifestyle choice, and if somebody is going to make the choice to be a gay or lesbian and catch who knows what kind of disease because they have so many sexual partners (I've read statistics that say the average is for them to have over 1,000 "partners"), I sure don't want to be the one footing the bill for there treatment. And I too get disgusted with the commercialization of Christmas. Materialism and pure greed is what it is. I wonder how many kids know the true meaning of Christmas and how many just think it's about Santa Clause and opening more and more and more gifts.

I shudder to think what our country is coming to.

Homosexuality IS a choice. Having homosexual sex is a choice AND I firmly believe even the "attraction" that they claim to have for the same sex is also a choice. God did not create anyone to be a homosexual. He made everyone heterosexual, which means everyone has heterosexual feelings and attractions. All men are naturally attracted to women, and all women are naturally attracted to men. Even those who cliam to be gay or lesbian. I believe those who choose to be with someone of the same gender do so because they have "issues" of some sort -- I would bet nearly all of them were abused or, if not that, then they have serious rebellion issues and want to be "different." Nothing else could make someone want to turn their backs on their natural attractions and go after a relationship that is completely unnatural.

Years ago it was against the law to be a homosexual. Homosexuality was seen for what it really is -- a danger to society. No, I do not advocate imprisoning or harming homosexuals in any way. But I do think we need to push back hard against the gay agenda. How did it get to the point that in today's world, we are arguing over gay MARRIAGE? HOW did it get to that point? The culture of acceptance and tolerance has gone to far. Instaed of embracing this sin and telling them its okay, we need to reach out to homosexuals and urge them to repent and change their ways before it is too late.

I do not think anyone who is openly homosexual should be allowed to be in any positions of leadership. I know it may sound harsh, but it is such a depraved lifestyle that I don't think we can trust anyone who has no shame about living in such perversion. We wouldn't want murderers, rapists, child molesters, or thieves to be in positions of power (even though I'm sure there are some who are guilty of those things there now, but at least they are not promoting it as acceptable) so I don't see how this is any different. I also do not think it is appropriate to accept homosexuals as teachers, pastors, or in any other profession that would allow them to influence people, especially our precious children. I know that homosexuality isn't any worse than other sins, and that everyone has a sinful nature. Thing is, most people are not proud of their sin and thier wrongdoing. Homosexuals are. They think thier is nothing wrong with their lifestyle, and they don't care who knows or sees. They WANT people to see them and know about them, and they want to force their perverse lifestyle on the rest of us.

I wish there was something that we could do to make things the way the used to be -- when people were ashamed of such blatent sin, whatever that sin was, but particularly homosexuality. Thirty or forty years ago, you would never have to worry about an open homosexual teaching your child or leading our government because there were laws against that sort of thing. If you were out, then you had to face the consequences of not being allowed in certain professions because it wasn't respectable or accepted. Today, no one seems to care. I wish we could do something to make things like they used to be but I'm afraid there's no turning back now.

Liberals lied about the Hart-Celler Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which abolished the national quota system in favor of lotteries and family reunification. Hart, Celler, Ted Kennedy, and Hubert Humphery claimed that it would not alter the ethnic and racial makeup of this country. It has.

Many of these same liberals lied about the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (Reagan signed that one, by the way) - they said it would once and for all end illegal immigration to this country by granting amnesty to the 3 million illegal aliens here at the time. There are now anywhere from 12 - 20 million illegal aliens (no one knows for certain).

Liberals told us that Affirmative Action would not lead to hiring quotas. It did.

Twenty years ago, homosexual activists themsleves laughed at the very idea that the gay rights movement would lead to gay marriage. Now, redifining marriage is their primary aim. Now they claim that redefining marriage to include gay marriage will not lead to legalization of polygamy. This is a transparent lie - hollywood is already trying to normalize polygamy, with shows like "Big Love", just like they started normalizing homosexuality with movies and TV shows thirty years ago.

It must rest on a “Mister Potato Head theory” of gender difference (same core, just interchangeable body parts). If real differences did exist, then men would need women and women would need men. Our children would learn that sexual differences are like mere personality types. Wait until your kids start bringing those papers home from school.

Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi yesterday said he fears for his life because of the campaign he has waged against homosexuals.

“Nowadays, I don’t wear my collar when I am in countries which have supporters of homosexuals,” he said while addressing Christians at Kitunga archdeaconry, West Ankole diocese in Ntungamo district.

“I am forced to dress like a civilian because those people are dangerous. They can harm anybody who is against them. Some of them are killers. They want to close the mouth of anybody who is against them.”
Orombi is among the Anglican archbishops who have led the boycott against the Lambeth Conference, which takes places later this month, over the issue of homosexuality.

The Global Anglican Future Conference, which was held in Jerusalem last month, resolved to form a new movement and broke ties with the authority of Canterbury over the consecration of gay bishops.

Despite the threats, Orombi yesterday continued his anti-gay campaign, asking Christians to pray for him and others who are against homosexuals.

“Homosexuals are agitating that it is a human right. But how can it be a human right for a man to sleep with another man or a woman to marry a woman?” he asked.

“What we need is to wake up and protect our church and children against this practice.”

He argued that God created men and women so that they could have children and fill the world so that the generations could continue. “So where do the homosexuals want to get their children?” he asked.

Orombi noted that homosexuals were trying to take advantage of Africa’s poverty by making donations, building schools and offering scholarships.

“We should not accept any donation that comes our way and has strings attached. Some people have already fallen victims in Uganda and we need to stop it,” the archbishop said.

Bishop Yona Katonene, the bishop of West Ankole diocese, who accompanied the archbishop, said he had received a report that a male teacher in Bushenyi had married a male student.

Most Americans are opposed to homosexuality and even more to homosexual marriage. Yet the media doesn't care, they have pushed their agenda. Look at most of new shows out, homosexual couples are completely in the mix. The media elites don't care about your voice, your wallet, or your letters. They are deadset on pushing their culture.

For most Christians and citizens they realize this conundrum and just ignore the issue. At this point the media elites are running the issue into the ground. Yet they haven't really changed public opinion.

I find it troubling that so many Homosexual Activists (and other sexual deviants, for that matter) have attached themselves to the Libertarian movement. I think Libertarianism can and should promote values and liberty at the same time. To be sure, it is possible to support libertarian principles while opposing the Homosexual Agenda. In a true Libertarian society, government would criminalize homosexuality, which would consequently expand the liberties of Christians and other religious people to freely believe that homosexuality is a criminal offense. If homosexuality is not criminalized, then that limits my freedom to believe that it should be. I think that is the key here.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe the homosexual influence on the Libertarian platform has become too powerful, and what do you think we can do to curb it?

I think you put too much stock in the authority of a professional guild. Professional-practitioner associations are not scientific associations but are professional guilds that are not only amenable to political influence, but express political opinions, thinly veiled as science, and act as political organizations. A professional guild requires consensus, particularly on issues that could have an effect on their funding, research, or practice. Western science is becoming thin on objectivity and very intolerant of dissent.

Removing homosexuality from the diagnostic manual was entirely due to homosexual activism - not science. The vote was neither unanimous nor comprehensive and the only “science” presented was a frankly biased study from 1957!

As for the ability to alter one's sexual orientation: Without any intervention whatsoever, three out of four boys who think they're gay at age l6 aren't by 25. This, according to data from the comprehensive study of sexuality by the National Health and Social Life Survey completed in 1994.

It seems to me that “reparative therapy” for homosexuals is akin to changing anyone’s individual and highly eclectic masturbatory fantasies. The high rate of recidivism for pedophiles tells us that therapy and aversive punishments rarely work for people who are driven to seek sexual relief through behaviors that are illegal, immoral, and even dangerous.

Sexual behaviors may be somewhat controllable, but our sexual imaginations are not.

More important than reparative therapy would be prevention. I think every parent would rather work on preventing homosexual orientation than have to deal with it after it is manifest.

We are abandoning parents and children by allowing the promoters of alienated sex of all kinds to control the media, research, and public discussion.

Humans do not have minds capable of knowing what is "good" better than God does. For example, you see many people on this site promoting and/or defending evil causes such as "homosexuality" (one reason why Socrates is now in Hell, by the way) and genocide against human children. They have no basis for saying these things are "good", yet they do. These things are in fact very evil. Many men who society considers "wise" are actually fools. So says God, and God is correct.

God knows what is good and what is not good. His opinion is the one that counts. Not the petty, evil opinion of man. Look, I'm not preaching the gospel to win a debating contest. I preach so that people may hear the truth of God, and the truth behind sin. When I hear new excuses each day about homosexuality NOT being a sin, it only encourages me to find the truth about that sin even more. Why? Because...well, some of the things you people say about homosexuality are so far fetched, that it just CAN'T be right. lol, I'm really serious about helping those who are struggling with homosexuality. If I want to help anybody, I HAVE TO tell them the truth....or at least do my best to tell 'em what's right. If they refuse, then there's nothing I can say---but to move on to the next group of people, praise God.

I know about Christianity...which is NOT a religion by the way. Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I find out each day is that people have their own perverted version of Christianity. She’s a great actress, and a pivotal character on the show. She is right about Carlotta’s character. Carlotta would betray her obvious Catholicism by going along with the plot line.

Xavier High School in Albury printed the letter, written by former student Matt Price, in the latest edition of its alumni newsletter Xavier.

Mr Price said he was "trying to make the world free of homosexuals", who live lives devoted to "sex and drugs".

"The gay side of life, all it's ever been is going out and doing that sort of stuff — the world just really doesn't need that," he said.

Mr Price said he was a "cured" homosexual and now lived in Noosa working as a registered nurse.

Anti-discrimination campaigner Garry Burns blasted Xavier High's decision to publish the letter, saying he understood Mr Price's letter to mean that gays and lesbians should be killed.

"It says he wants the removal of homosexuals from the face of the earth and there's only one way to interpret that," Burns told ninemsn.

"There are people out there who will express that endorsement through bashings, murder and all sorts of things — they'll go out and say the Catholic Church is right: 'let's get a poof and kill him'."

The 52-year-old, who last year sued 2UE presenter John Laws after he called gay men "pillow-biters" on-air, said Xavier High officials "ran away and hid like Burmese kittens" after he asked them to apologise and make a $5000 donation to gay and lesbian support group Twenty10.

Burns said he hoped media reports, including one by gay and lesbian publication SX News, would pressure the school into making a statement.

An online copy of the newsletter on the school's website has been changed to remove all of Mr Price's comments about homosexuality.

Xavier High headmaster Neville Powells could not be contacted for comment although he addressed the remarks in a recent student newsletter.

"We live in a country where free speech is available to all," Mr Powells said.

"That said, I apologise for any offence caused — certainly none was intended. "Unfortunately on this occasion some elements of the published letter were not detected during the editing process and were included in the distribution."
