Authors note: He is referring to a vegan being in a relationship to a non-vegan
Animal abuse is not a personal decision. If she is okay with her bf being an animal abuser then she gives him the green light and basically says it's "Okay" to abuse animals. She should dump him the same way she should dump a racist, a rapist, a wife beater, etc. The world doesn't need another heartless animal abuser patted on the back.
Veganism should NOT be a choice. It should be MANDATORY around the globe.

Cool story bro. proceeds to give some meat leftovers to the dog while I contenmplate eating hamburgers tonight or tomorrow
Seriously though, eating meat is not the same as abusing animals, and certainly not the same as being a rapist. Animals eat animals all the friggin’ time; and we humans happen to be omnivores anyway. But leave it to extremist vegans to be blind to reality.
Nature is very cruel, deal with it. And if animals would stop eating each other, the entire ecosystem would collapse.
“She should dump him the same way she should dump a racist, a rapist, a wife beater, etc.”
Interesting. There are people in the world who consider ALL sex to be rape. All men are wife beaters, even if they don’t have a wife. And of course, anyone noticing race is a racist.
If you’re going to live by absolute purity tests, it’s a time consuming, polarized world of compliant and pure evil.
Reality will never be quite so binary.
I mean, you can hail the outlawing of pate de foie gras, or you can reject it as nothing less than posturing. One’s progress, one’s why no one invites you to parties.
As several others have already said, it’s not abuse. And not everyone can be vegan, asshole. Some of us actually have to eat meat because of digestive and absorption issues. I don’t absorb iron well. I literally cannot get it from vegetable or fruit sources. And I’m not the only person I know like this! But likely you’d try to force us onto a diet that not only can’t sustain us, but might kill us very slowly. Go fuck yourself with this “everyone has to be vegan” shit.

Just to be sure, are supplement sources interdicted as well? I’m curious what quality of meat makes getting iron ions out of it easier. (q.v. vegans using B12 supplements)
But I have a feeling they’d like to abolish mortality as well. The utmost want to abolish eating itself (q.v. breatharians); I think the idea is akin to non-Gaian Gnosticism, to be more like gods or at least cherubim than anything strictly/primarily physical.
With such moral absolutism, you might have issues finding a partner; I don’t think even other vegans might not find you too burdensome.
This one managed to understand the value of compromise:

Red meat contains hemoglobin, which is by far the easiest way for our bodies to absorb iron. Supplements can’t match it and can also cause some pretty nasty digestive issues. Some forms, like ferric bisglycinate, are better than others but still not great. All supplementary forms have to be taken with vitamin c which can increase the digestive issues, but red meat doesn’t require that since we don’t need vitamin c to absorb hemoglobin iron. I actually have to regularly eat red meat plus take a daily supplement. The problem has gotten so bad in the last year that my thyroid has started to shut down. Fun times!!
Confused?
