In all seriousness though, these Trumpists are the living proof of “reality is unrealistic”. Whenever I think they’ve reached the absolute bottom of the well of batshit insanity, they somehow manage to go even deeper. You just cannot make that stuff up anymore.
…Frankly I’m kinda envious of them. It must feel nice being able to live so deep in your own fantasy world (to the point where their fantasy starts outright eroding reality) where everything is perfect instead of rotten reality.

At least Christians (in general) believe that Jesus’ suffering led to the world’s redemption. Exactly what has Trump’s suffering done for you? Unless you believe that subordinating and eliminating the human rights of those who aren’t Christian, white, cis/het men is something that really makes your life better.
If there’s ever one person who could hurt the US enough to drop us from a superpower to a major power at best it would be Trump, not to mention alot of the reasons he’s running again is a combination of his very bruised ego (at being defeated and not able to handle it very well), desire for revenge and fear that if he’s not in the office he will face consequences for actions he had gotten away with up until now. Trump IS NOT some savior, he’s a person that will hurt the US for decades to come, even moreso then he already has.
Posting something like “Notice me, Twump-senpai, I live to lick your feet, UWU” doesn't even seem sufficient anymore.
For the GOP, "common sense" is "identity purity", fear and mythology. The same with "common sense" laws with the intent to restrict liberties and deny human rights, not based on reality but on ideology, fallacious arguments and post-reality mythology, conspiracy theories, history and constitution revisionism, etc.
