Ableism is such a bullshit word. NTA. I’m sick and tired of having to accommodate every little mental illness or disability for people who need to adapt to the world they live in. Sucks they got dealt a shitty hand. Deal with it.

They DID deal with it, asshole, they banded together and demanded that they not be discriminated against and the majority accepts that as a basic right.

If you get lucky, you'll live long enough to get old and sick. I hope you get exactly as much empathy as you give - meaning you'll spend your last days on a cold sidewalk, ignored.

It’s called the curb cut effect. Design features meant to accommodate people with disabilities almost always get used by the non-disabled population too. A cut in the curb to allow wheelchairs to pass also lets people pushing strollers or wheeled dollies and shopping carts go too. An automatic doors, closed captioning, you name it.

Deal with it.

What when it's your time to face a lack of support and empathy, when you'll need it? Humans are neither perfect nor eternal... You don't know someone close to you who needs your help? If it's not directly your help, you don't think that it's appropriate for others to understand that, rather than promoting a "who cares" attitude? This may be ageism, but you sound like a teen who doesn't know much about life yet.
