Now we know that Trump wasn't just lightning in a bottle. To quote Ian McKellen:

Whatever your feelings or givings about the candidates, they are, at the very least, giving the people something they have been starved for for far too long: Purpose and hope. And the results are mirror images of the 2016 American election. Which brings me to one caveat: if the global current happenings are repetitions of what happened in the US, wouldn't that mean that next elections would be, for want of a better phrase "secure and fair" as ours was? But whatever happens, one thing is certain:

A thing is about to happen that has not happened since the Elder days. The Right Wing is going to wake up, and find that they are strong.

1. That's not quoting Ian McKellen. You not only don't have the quotes to show where it stops, but you've changed the quote from Gandalf. You warped the first and second paragraph and added the entire middle. Also, you generally quote the character, not the actor you twit.

2. Trump doesn't bring anything useful. He's a symptom of the underlying rot the GOP has been cultivating and festering in the heart of the US. It isn't hope and purpose, he's just showing that they can be as vile and corrupt as they want with limited repercussions. If the rot isn't treated it will be a massive issue for the US.

“Elder days”? Have you been reading or playing too much fantasy lately? I’m not against that, but you might want to get back to the real world now and again. You seem to be confused in general, what with confusing actors with fictional characters, and Tolkien-speak for real language. Incidentally, the usual phrase is “olden times”.

It ought to be impossible that Trump has anything faintly resembling a chance to become president again.
