Bullying is the natural and healthy way society keeps itself in line. Ostracizing deviants and discouraging deviant behavior. Stop that, and you get this. A filthy society run by degenerates.

From whence comes "filthy"? From whence comes "degeneracy"? You have to establish what relationship with reality justifies the implied ethical failings of being what you consider "filthy" or "degenerate", and further that the mere reality of what they are is not the full extent of the necessary consequence for being it.
For example, why is "cannot have children of their own" sufficient consequence for being gay? Why is this consequence justified in the first place? Why should any consequence be enforced, even the natural one, rather than circumvented as necessary?
I can give examples as to realities of when enforcing certain consequences for behavior leads to a better reality for people, both enhancing natural consequences or enacting wholely artificial ones that are predicted by nature to be beneficial. But it is on you, the person arguing against some thing you find "filthy" and/or "degenerate" to justify these views.
I was bullied for liking books and not being good at sports. How's that make me a 'degenerate?'
Looks to me like someone is trying to rationalize mistreating people that they're prejudiced against. They hear 'bullying' and they don't think of cerebral kids, or minorities within a school (racial, religious, whatever), they think of gays.
So if bullying is natural and healthy then...
Theft is fine and dandy. (A good chunk of the bullying I suffered was other students stealing my stationery, knowing full well my parents would yell at me due to us being poor.)

Used to take little social enforcers like you and flush ya down the crapper or just beat the ever living shit outta them, that “corrected” them nicely, usually the message “leave the weirder kids alone, you fuckhead” was pushed through. Was fun times but you probably would not have enjoyed ’em.
You don’t get to socially police others, or keep them “in line” specially as a kid, learn the message or suffer the consequences.
Fuck you! As a kid and even later as a young adult I was constantly bullied for different things, like being too much into reading, too unathletic, too intellectual, for being gay (interestingly enough mostly as a young adult in the army when I was drafted), isolated or even just not being ‘like everyone else’. I still have mental issues stemming from this constant bullying and just recently got out of my crippling self-doubts at least (I wish I could leave behind my social anxiety and depressive phases as well). All of that because some fucked up people like you either thought that my behaviour had to be ‘corrected’ or really needed the power high they got out of doing that. Bullying apologists are scum in my opinion. Weak and aggressive at best, sociopathic social darwinists at worst.

Nothing is more important to these wretches than cladding their social norms in iron and any means to that end, no matter how badly they screw people up, are thus justified.
It’s not like individuality and exploration ever gave the world anything, right? Unless you count all of human achievement, that is. Because by definition invention and discovery come from breaking the norm and trying something different that’s never been done before. And who needs self-examination or philosophy when you’ve got an external standard to conform to? So what if you literally go insane trying to mimic expectations without understanding the why of it and gaining no personal fulfillment from it?
Nope, to the lions with those heretics. Wouldn’t want them to convert anyone else to their ideology or - heaven forbid - challenge long held beliefs and power structures whose very purposes may have skewed over time but tradition forbids they be re-examined. Who do they think they are? Jesus Christ?
I’m sure that some tiny minority of bullies truly believe their behavior is prosocial and for the benefit of their victims and it’s not just some BS that they use to justify their actions to themselves and others. Those people have very shitty role models.
This doesn’t change that bullying is inherently an antisocial power trip.
I was bullied for having disabilities, and for being a girl who liked video games and reading.
You don’t want to bring bullying back because you’re worried about society, you want to bring bullying back because you enjoy bullying and are sad you no longer get celebrated for it.
