Wouldn't the best way to kill people be to let the virus run wild, while demonizing the best cure? Oh wait.

I read a scifi story about 15 years ago, a tech team created nanobots that protected people from radiation such as might be released by leakage, nuclear accidents, nuclear war.
They released it in airport ventilation systems.

They also released nanobots in the VIP lounges that made people MORE susceptible to radiation. So the people who’d be the ones making the decision to deploy, or legislating safety measures, would be extra vulnerable.

This is probably the way any group would attack the world population. Release one type of virus or nanobot or whatever in, say, synogogues, the other in malls. Never worry about participation, or reputations. Just figure where the target popluations diverge, spread accordingly.
Then the very few people who figure it out screaming ’Don’t eat at burger king, (or buy Ford, or go to Disney, whatever) that’s the source of teh PLAGUE!’ would sound even loonier.

Who’s they? Why should they want to do such a thing?

Who? Well, a coup attempt was dodged. So the same people, the MAGA and QAnonists? Because your demonization of beneficial medicine is baseless fear mongering nonsense. And because QAnon radicalized more than one in terrorism. No evidence for your bullshit, plenty of evidence for the facts.
