That’s what they want to take away. Women’s freedom to control our own reproductive systems.
Reproductive freedom isn’t just abortion. That’s part of it, but not even close to all. It’s our ability to choose if we use tampons or pads. To choose if we have a hysterectomy. To choose if we get to use birth control, regardless of whether it’s to treat illness or just to keep us from getting pregnant. To choose the race of the person we have children with, not to mention how many children. And there’s so much more…
This is all about controlling women’s bodies.
