Remember when they spent years telling us to panic over the hole in the ozone layer and then suddenly just stopped talking about it and nobody ever mentioned the ozone layer again?

The ban on CFCs reduced that problem quite a lot.

Matt doeesn’t remember that we ACTUALLY TOOK ACTION about the Ozone layer hole, which is predicted to heal itself by 2050.

Because we got our act together and fixed it. The same thing would happen to climate change discussions if we got our heads out of our fucking asses and fixed it!

Because scientists worked on and solved the problem. That is why the hole in the ozone layer isn't talked about anymore. People who know what they are doing found a solution and it is healing.

Honestly it should be talked about more so people like Matt here can't twist it.

It might be because we actually banned CFC and then searched for alternatives, unlike what we’re doing now for carbon.

Matt seems to be behind the times. Which explains his views.

All it took was removing the CFCs from spray cans and fridges. Wish global warming was a problem so easily solved.
