Got vaccinated, dodged COVID for two years. Finally caught it - but I was fully boosted, so it lasted less than two weeks, was like a mild cold with extra fatigue, and left no lingering effects. Perfectly fine ever since.

Fully vaxxed and boosted. Not only still here but lost 20lbs and dropped to below pre diabetic levels through exercise. It's as though getting vaxxed and boosted meant not only I survived but found a gym, exercised at home instead of y'know fucking dying. As though vacc worked, boosters worked to keep me alive, healthy and in turn I didn't get others sick. Oh and I trust my doctors, they keep me healthy

That’s sad?
I got yelled by a doc because i wanted a second opinion. My Dad used to teach us, ’Don’t let the terms ‘doctor’ and ‘patient’ confuse who is hiring whose services. She diagnosed asthma, which would have been an end to my submarine career, so i asked to be tested before she put that into my record. Turned out she was wrong.

By and large i trust docs. I have 11 of them right now. But sometimes they need to be taken down a peg, and it always helps to take anything with a grain of salt.

However, thinking the medical profession is conspiring to harm their patients as a class is just fucking whacko.
