…My own opinions on Disney as a company aside, they’re still a company, Mr. Ham. Ergo they don’t “stand” for anything except profits, and thus if they want the majority of their consumer base to keep spending dump-trucks of money on them, it’s the pragmatic solution of Disney to NOT ignore or insult that majority.
Also, “family friendly”? Yeah, Disney was never as “child friendly” as you might think… It could get pretty damn dark at some points.
Also also, if Disney doing so keep pissing off idiots like Mr. Ham, I’ll happily keep giving them my money for (rather good) entertainment.
I've seen old stuff from Disney that was much less family friendly, like a whole village of balloons being cruelly killed with a needle while begging and screaming.
Edit/adding: One would think that a message of tolerance towards people who love eachother would be fine. This reminds me how many Jehovah's Witnesses have no problem watching violent action movies, except for the sex scenes in them. Even the lady in Bakshi's "Fire and Ice" was too much for my dad, who had to interrupt the movie by switching channel when it played on TV. But also, a simple Google image search for the apocalyptic depictions they often include in their literature will show how "family friendly" their bullshit is.
Ham, who wants to make money out of your family by at the same time preaching pseudoscientific falsehoods to them at fake museums.
It’s always weirded me out, that being LGBTQ+ is somehow “anti family”. Hello, we come from families just like everybody else, Dr Mr. Pigflesh!
“Dr.”? At least Hovind got the diploma mill version, but I don’t think Ham has even done that. According to Wikipedia, he got a bachelor’s degree in applied science, but that’s it.
Edit: even his own Twitter handle doesn’t call him Dr. Not sure why the submitter called him that, but I guess they got him confused with non-Doctor Hovind.
I don't know how "family friendly" Disney ever were. I remember watching it as a kid and they always had this fairy flying around the castle. Maybe that's your "radical LGBTQ activism", any tolerance for them.
Also Ken, don't come home.

You could always join Paul Buggery's FFG, FFS.
He's as lonely as Bozo the Dying Clown after all his writers couldn't trust that self -declared 'Emperor'.
As per Emperor Bozo The Naked , people couldn't take Paulie poos' ego. As was said about that now more than literally former Conservative , 'Sinking ships fleeing the Rat '.
Unlike certain theme parks, where are all the visitors to yours , little fundie rodent...?!

Ah, but see, he was horny for a woman, which is a good example for the kids! He even had a song about wanting to rape her! Ergo, very family friendly!

I don’t know about the origins for Bambi (it was based off an Austrian book, but I know nothing about it), but, well … Claude Frollo is more “family friendly” in many ways in the Disney movie than from his original source. Victor Hugo is definitely one of those that has to be severely “Disneyfied” in order to be, well, a Disney movie.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
