If the MMR vaccine hadn’t been invented, about 15 million more children would have died over the last 15 years (or was it just the Measles vaccine?).
If you want to link health-conditions back to the vaccines, you’d have to say that “weren’t it for the vaccines, many of these people wouldn’t be alive to contract these conditions”.
Allergies is a new thing, sort of. When our environment is “too clean”, our immune system has nothing to work with, and it starts attacking perfectly innocent things. Vaccines, on the other hand, give our immune system something to do.
Vaccines are usually relatively cheap, as many of the patent-holders gave away their patents or sold them for peanuts. Vaccines can be made in really HUGE amounts, as almost everyone will need it (except for the ones who are allergic or compromised in some way), and that also make them fairly cheap.
Big Pharma’s biggest benefit with vaccines, is that most of us actually survive infancy, and grow up to be sick many, many times over a long life, so they can treat us and/or cure us many, many times.
The only ones making money off anti-vaxxers are the manufacturers of tiny little coffins, and some snake-oil salesmen.
