This is taken from Wikipedia and typed by me. From the 1970s to today Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over four thousand lawsuits. Most people are involved in zero.
Now most of these Trump can twist into a victory but some are clear losses. Like Trump University.
No, obviously he should have been nailed for the tax evasion, rape and sexual harassment charges years ago. He could also have be charged with falsifying medical documents to evade service in Vietnam but that would really be unfair, nobody was really hit with that.
He had quite the career, throwing lawyers at people until they could no longer afford to sue him. Then he went and fucked with the feds, thinking he could use the same tactics.
Didn’t work, won’t work. The Federal Government has DEEP pockets.
No. He did not have a “clean” record by a long shot. THOUSANDS of lawsuits, infamous for stiffing his employees, sexual assault allegations, the fraud he’s finally being convicted of now? Decades old. It’s just that in addition to drawn out litigation making sure anyone that holds him to account runs out of money for lawyers before he does acting quite literally like a bratty child having a hissy it, far from getting him stomped hard by the system like it would a normal human being, has proven infuriatingly and nonsensically effective in buying him time.
There was a REASON the world treated it like a joke when he threw his fake hair into the political ring. He’s a lifelong conman whose claim to wealth is literally claiming to be wealthier than he actually was in order to bullshit investors and fleece idiots that confuse reality tv for reality, a bungler banking on his grandmother’s name which he promptly erased from public view to assert himself as the face of the business, and in every way the least fit human being to occupy a position of power. The world knew this already. The WORLD knew this already. THE ENTIRE WORLD KNEW THIS ALREADY. You made yourselves the last to the punchline and his best customers. And now look at you. You’re a disgrace to human kind following the human embodiment of failure and runner up for evil down the drain as he calls you an idiot to your face and you just smile and hand him your money regardless. You rewrite what happens in living memory to try and convince yourself you’re not backing a losing horse and it’s gotten you to a point where you sincerely cannot tell fiction from reality.
Trump was sued for racial discrimination in the 1970s, and had other cases since . Trump might have the most corrupt presidency since Harding’s.
Trump’s method to protect himself is to use overpriced lawyers to terrorize his adversaries (contractors, workers, administrations) into compliance.
