If natural equals good and healthy, why are some people sociopaths, psychopaths, and kleptomaniacs? Aren’t those natural tendencies driven by chemistry and should be honored as lifestyle choices?

“If natural equals good and healthy,”
No one claims that natural ALWAYS means good and healthy. If that were so, we’d have tried to preserve polio.
False premise, unsupported smugness. No points to Slytherin.
Like what @KeithInc. said, “natural” also includes stuff like ebola, skin cancer from sunlight, various genetic diseases, etc… Nobody’s saying “natural” always equals “good” (and whoever does so is a moron, tbh), and sometimes it doesn’t hurt at all to fight what nature “intended” for us. But for the life of me I don’t get why you’re equalling LGBTQ+ to psychopathy of all things!
Ok, so first of all, it is not us (LGBT+ and allies) who are saying “it is natural and therefore…”. That’s freaking YOUR side with the constant “homosexuality is not inborn but an unnatural, sinful, abhorrent choice”. We are only showing you that it is natural to counter your own natural fallacy. Perfectly legitimate. It’s embarrassing that you are now trying to spin it by claiming that it is us who are using fallacious arguments. And you are not even doing that correctly, since you fall back on calling it “lifestyle choices”, which “natural tendencies driven by chemistry” AREN’T.
Furthermore, there is a difference between gender and sexual identity and the listed characteristics: Sociopaths, psychopaths and kleptomaniacs are often (not even always!) dangerous to others and themselves because of these characteristics, and therefore usually seen as people in need of help. LGBT+ conversely are not, no matter what you are trying to say.
Bad logic, bad arguments, fractal wrongness. What else do you expect from homophobes nowadays?
Also, my disorder isn’t a “choice”, its something I was born with, in all likelihood. This guy also probably thinks everyone with this diagnosis is some serial killing Ted Bundy clone giggling to himself whenever he sees a woman alone in a parking lot.
The reality is that the majority of people with antisocial personality disorder, “socio/psychopathic people”, live every bit as normal lives as everyone else.
Appeal to nature can also be a fallacy, especially if wanting to justify crimes, but that's your argument, not anyone else's. Then false equivalence, letting people live their lives vs justifying crimes. Of course, in your confused universe you may want to criminalize sexual diversity, explaining this nonsense.

And even those things that can harm the participants of consensual homosexual relationship are the same things that can hurt the participants of consensual heterosexual relationship, after all. Beyond just the emotional dangers inherent in all relationships, the physical risks faced in sex exist as a possibility in all relationships as well. Although the physical risks are more associated with not having a clue what you’re doing and trying it anyway.
Confused?
