I don’t see why showing that we’re not animals is necessarily a good thing. Animal Planet had a subtitle that said “surprisingly human” and a lot of animals show human traits like monogamy, communication, intelligence, etc. With climate change, I don’t see how elevating humanity would do anything but alienate us from the other creatures that share the planet with us and our environment.

Plus I don’t see how virginity elevates our humanity. It’s just means you haven’t had sex yet. At most, it might indicate a change in life stage.

People’s knowledge is atrocious. 10-11 sounds like the perfect time to explain puberty, gender, sex, etc since sone girls would start their periods at that time and before teens become very interested in other teenagers.
