Chris Cabrera’s job is to justify Donald Trump’s illegal actions, and naturally he reaches for one of white supremacist’s favorite anti-immigrant arguments; the “those immigrants are bringing HORRIBLE DISEASES across the border” argument.
It’s probably also worth mentioning that the Border Patrol “professionals” are separating children from parents because the parents have HIV. According to them, they have to take the kids away because they might contract HIV from their parents. Somehow. But not influenza…
Funny that immigration wasn’t an invasion until 1914 (or really, existed at all, since you were either white and got to be a full citizen after 5 years of living in North America, or you weren’t and could never be a full citizen, until they created the new class of “immigrant” in 1914, just so they didn’t have to make the Chinese who crossed the Pacific for the building of the Continental Railroad citizens like they promised), isn’t it?
