Uh, actually, NO, nobody said that. Wikipedia says that “Between October 4, 1927, and October 31, 1941, Gutzon Borglum and 400 workers sculpted the colossal 60-foot-high (18 m) carvings.” So, yeah, it’s “said” to be done by just a few more people than him and his son. I guess his son (Lincoln Borglum, named by Gutzon after his favorite President!) took charge of completing it after Gutzon died in 1941. It’s kinda sad that he never saw it completed, I think.

I know what he meant there, but grammatically, that could be read as meaning “women need men a trillion times more than they need men.” Which, now that I think about it, would only make sense logically if he’s saying women do NOT need men at all. The famous televangelist Jack Van Impe, sometime before 1974 apparently, preaching on the evils of rock n’ roll with its beat “from the fertility rites of the jungles” LOL

I guess his prediction of “sex in the streets in every major city from coast to coast” in 1974 worked out about as well as his several predictions of the end of the world…

I've read some stories of people who were prisoners of war, and it doesn't sound like it's exactly a picnic for anyone, man or woman.

What if a female firefighter had to drag a 200 pound man down from a second story on a ladder to save his life? Women cannot do this.

I bet there are female firefighters who literally can do that.
