I doubt human psionic output, whatever rules you’re using, would be powerful enough to play games with the planet’s entire geomagnetism. The trick here is that they see humans (often themselves included) as naught but sinners needing correction. The way you put “fellow humans” would strike them as nonsensical, especially since their God doesn’t have fellows, just reprobates and subjects.

I’d not be surprised if even Jesus was effectively the latter. Particularly with the Pauline and pseudo-Pauline letters exalting his absolute obedience to God as though that was what made him the ultimate life form (Adam Kadmon???).

I think Tim LaHaye once opined that sexual pleasure was just a slight taste of the joy of Heaven (and just to get everyone’s minds out of the gutter, I don’t think he’d have reacted well to the idea of God having any sort of congress with any number of people). So…some sort of metaphysical exa-amped narcotic???

I’m not sure, if this is true, what grudge they have against their capacity for sapience. But the idea is definitely some sort of unrelenting, all-encompassing bliss.
